Big Joe Kaplan from Big Joe & Sons started doing this in the early ‘90s. They’re one of the oldest parlors in NY. Incredible guy. He’s a legend in the business.
Coverups usually need to be larger and darker than the initial tattoo unless your artist is really good at camouflage. But, free tattoo, so if the tattoo you want fit those parameters and you like the artist anyway it’d be worth it.
Hell, I can totally imagine people who’d love a nipple tattoo on their leg
Honestly I'd do it just so I could see people's confusion and double takes when I wear shorts
I don't have any tattoos, but a pair of nipples on my shoulder blades is fully within the parameters of the kind of tattoo I'd get if I got one (two).

Theres a tattoo artist near me who does this for free. And is really good at what she does
I had coworker get breast reconstruction after a mastectomy. They made a nipple for her, I think from skin.
Mine is also like this. During mastectomy they removed my nipples and grafted them back on. Looks perfectly natural.
I just have a picture in my head of two nipples on ice...
A friend of my mom's showed her that they'd moved her nipples to another part of her torso until she recovered from the original surgery and was ready to have implants and the nipples back on. But this was in the 70s and she only lived a couple more years, I don't know if she ever even got that surgery because of too much else going on trying to kill the cancer.
I'm sorry, but I can't help imagining two nipples grafted right above a belly button to make a little 😮 face.

If the nipple is the part of the female boob that can't be exposed, does that mean if the nipple is removed and not replaced, they can walk around topless?
Also, wouldn't that tattoo on his leg also become taboo? If not, then a tattooed nipple on the boob would also be acceptable to show.
You can always walk around topless and anyone who says otherwise is a cop

Not seeing anything horrible or horrifying here. Personally I think it's great that a tattooist wants to help cancer survivors.
But for now, it is a very realistic nipple on the side of that guy's leg, so I'm pretty sure it's gonna cause some heads to turn and some "what the fuck is that?"

those suck though. I have never heard anything good about them
There's legit medical stuff that's very realistic, but very expensive.
Why not? Could come in handy when you have kids.
