What would haven been even funnier for Musk to say is "Without me, Trump would have lost, again."

WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s alliance took off like one of SpaceX’s rockets. It was supercharged and soared high. And then it blew up.

AP news is hiring comedians it seems

One of the major outlets headline is "The two worst people in the world are finally having a big, beautiful breakup"

[–] [email protected] 11 points 3 days ago

They just have no interest in being nice and giving him the benefit of a doubt since they're on the administrations shit list.

If other outlets had backbones this is just what journalism looks like.

When the World's Richest Man who spent a QUARTER OF A BILLION DOLLARS on ONE Candidate says "without me he would have lost", what does that mean?

[–] [email protected] 106 points 3 days ago (2 children)

"I bought him fair and square, but now he's defective. Can I get a refund?"

[–] pelespirit 27 points 3 days ago

Also, we're not in a democracy anymore.

Sounds election interferry

[–] [email protected] 28 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (3 children)

Election interference? Nah, it's endorsement

Corruption? Nah, it's lobbyism

As a French, I'll never understand how this shit is legal in the USA. We've sued presidents for much less than that.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

We had a chance to stop it a century ago. At this only a revolution can save us

Is he implying he manipulated the election? Or does it just sound like it?

[–] [email protected] 73 points 3 days ago (1 children)

For once in my life, I want musk to say more.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 3 days ago (2 children)

I want him to say much more. Starting with "No! Not there bees!"

Not implying, admitting. Here's the data.

First and last links are the data. The middle links are for us stupid people that need to be told how to read the data in the last link.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 days ago

Trump outright said he had bribed politicians during his 2016 campaign. It doesn't fucking matter.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 3 days ago (8 children)

Why would he openly admit to a crime of such magnitude? He's an idiot, but he's not THAT much of an idiot. He wouldn't incriminate himself.

[–] OneWomanCreamTeam 33 points 3 days ago

Incriminate himself? He's far too rich for that to matter.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 3 days ago

Then And if he did, it wasn't that bad. And if he did, that's not a big deal. And if did, that's not his fault. And if it was, he didn't mean it. And if he did, america deserved it.

It's a bitter feeling that the best defense the US has against a fascist takeover is the incompetence and narcissism of the ones doing the taking over.

[–] [email protected] 41 points 3 days ago

Hitler's cabinet was full of these kinds of people too, and he still managed to do a lot of damage. It's not much of a protection.

[–] [email protected] 48 points 3 days ago (1 children)

...which makes you an enemy of the US, you piece of shit.

[–] lagoon8622 18 points 3 days ago (3 children)

Deport his ass. Nationalize his assets and handcuff him to the first thing smoking to Joburg

As wealth becomes concentrated in fewer and fewer hands, we know the oligarchs will soon be fighting over the last of the scraps.

Unfortunately, we are those scraps.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 days ago

Eventually, wealth will consolidate to three oligarchs, and we’ll all live in either The Citadel, Gas Town, or The Bullet Farm. Witness me.

[–] [email protected] 44 points 3 days ago (1 children)

No shit Nazi. That's why we hate you and want you deported.

[–] OneWomanCreamTeam 18 points 3 days ago (3 children)

Deported directly into a wood chipper.

Let's hope they do a mutually assured destruction of each other.

The egos are big enough.

[–] [email protected] 34 points 3 days ago

Somebody has to dare him to prove it, and maybe he'll show how he rigged the voting counts in the swing states.

Is this a subtle admission that they cheated? Or is he just implying that he injected so much cash into the campaign that he changed the campaign calculus. I fail to understand how money won the election. Supposedly the dems had over a billion dollars during the campaign, and they lost. So, then whats he trying to say? Money has decreasing returns after a certain level.

Oh, so he's to blame

[–] [email protected] 18 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Shouldn't Child Protective Services be all over him right now? How can he be allowed to continue doing so much heavy drugs, with his little kids in the next room??

[–] [email protected] 10 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Anybody have any idea what they’re trying to hide with this puppet show? Is the big bill getting too much attention or is it something else?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Its to save Tesla’s brand, it appears supporting Trump is toxic to half of Americans
