So this little shit survived being thrown around for an hour by my neighbor's dog before she called me over to rescue it. (lemmy.today)

I'm needing a proper survivor/strong as fuck name.

(The dog was a puppy, and didn't leave any puncture wounds. Just some pneumo thorocia, a lot of internal bruising, and a possible broken or bruised rib. She is currently planted firmly next to my leg on the couch with a hospital tent waiting for her when I go to sleep.)

Her name is furiousa!

I love the literal interpretation! Neighbor footed the ~$300 vet bill and she just told me she thinks it should be "lucky". I'm thinking calling this little shit that only in the neighbors presence. She will be an indoor only cat cause it's a fairly rural area with tons of wildlife that will make her disappear in an instant.

Yeah, Ripley being the ultimate survivor (until she wasn't, spoiler alert), but I know so many people that named their pet Ripley I felt Weaver was a better choice.

I'm just shooting out something while drunk. But I heard a song by the lead singer of "the gaslight anthem" called "color me black" recently and because of my nature to go against anything, it's speaking to me.
