Cybertrucks aren't designed to be driven and they should never get wet. Otherwise, enjoy.

Also remember not to charge them after midnight.

According to that diagram, the dog is in the trunk.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 2 months ago (1 children)

The trunk has more headroom.

(There was a time when kids sat in the trunk of cars like this)

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

Bring back trunk kids

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

At least where I live that's where people usually put their dogs. With sedans and SUVs it's not as cramped though and often there's a transport cage for them.

[–] [email protected] 26 points 2 months ago (1 children)

also remember to never tow with it so your frame doesn't snap in half

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 17 points 2 months ago (1 children)

oh yeah. check WhistlinDiesel's video link @

frame snapped when he tried towing an f series pickup

in a later video he made sure to beat on the f series, and while the frame did bend, it wasn't a sudden catastrophic failure

a quick summary from some website

The F-150's steel frame didn't break, but bent under extreme abuse - unlike the Cybertruck's catastrophic failure. The Cybertruck's aluminum frame is unfixable after being torn apart - unlike the F-150 which can be repaired or replaced easily. Despite the haters, WhistlinDiesel's extreme testing proved the F-150's durability, while the Cybertruck suffered irreparable damage

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Credit where it's due, the Cybertruck took an absurd fucking beating before it died, and its clearly quite safe from outside intrusion to a pretty extreme degree. That frame snapping was kinda insane though, I can't really put into words just how much that shouldn't be possible.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

And in a later video, he showed a photo and chat with a viewer. They saw someone's Cyertruck's frame snap off while hauling a trailer which hit a bump on the highway and sent the pic in.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

yeah in his next video the f150 took so much more, and the frame only bent

[–] kcfb 24 points 2 months ago

This reminds me of the stickers that come on some Walmart-level "mountain bikes."

I have an inflatable garden toy - a set of 2 pigs to play a jumbo version of Pass the Pigs. There is a warning on the inflatable toys:

"This is not an inflatable toy."

So I wouldn't ve surprised if Cyber Truck had some similar warning. "This is not a car. Do not allow it to get wet."

Warning: Pregnant women, the elderly, and children under 10 should avoid prolonged exposure to CyberTruck.

Caution: CyberTruck may suddenly accelerate to dangerous speeds.

CyberTruck contains a liquid core, which, if exposed due to rupture, should not be touched, inhaled, or looked at.

Do not use CyberTruck on concrete.

Discontinue use of CyberTruck if any of the following occurs: itching; vertigo; dizziness; tingling in extremities; loss of balance coordination; slurred speech temporary blindness; profuse sweating or heart palpitations.

If CyberTruck begins to smoke, get away immediately. Seek shelter and cover head.

CyberTruck may stick to certain types of skin.

When not in use, CyberTruck should be returned to its special container and kept under refrigeration. Failure to do so relieves the makers of CyberTruck, Elon Musk, and its parent company, Tesla, of any and all liability.

Ingredients of CyberTruck include an unknown glowing green substance which fell to Earth, presumably from outer space.

Do not taunt CyberTruck.

CyberTruck comes with a lifetime warranty.

CyberTruck! Accept no substitutes!

[–] [email protected] 17 points 2 months ago (2 children)

CyberTruck comes with a lifetime warranty.

We literally guarantee that Cybertruck will last for the rest of your life. You will assuredly die on or before the day that it stops working.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

This sounds like something that companies purposefully do.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago

CyberTruck comes with a lifetime warranty.

Warranty lasts as long as cybertruck is working. After that - your problem.

The similarities between Happy Fun Ball and Elon's childhood car drawing are SHOCKING (because both will likely electrocute the user)

[–] [email protected] 42 points 2 months ago (2 children)

It bewilders me that such a vehicle made it out of testing and onto public roads with the sheer amount of poor design issues it has.

Regulation in the US appears to be nothing but smoke and mirrors.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

nothing but smoke and mirrors

Nope. Mirrors are optional.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 months ago

Trump deregulated the fuck out of things while president and this is likely one of the effects

Fire Hydrant Turns Rolling Dumpster into Dumpster Fire

[–] [email protected] 29 points 2 months ago

I mean, what do you expect? It's a fire hydrant.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 2 months ago (8 children)

Sounds like the best possible place to have a fire. Isn't the only advice for putting out an EV battery fire "pour as much water as possible on it for several hours until it burns itself out"?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

Yes. Water doesn’t directly help it go out since the batteries are fine burning in water but if you carry away enough heat then you csn

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

I read on the news our local fire department had to keep one car in a special water reservoir for several days, because the fire kept reigniting.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

One can also cover it with fire blanket and sing them goodnight tune.

This must be why Ben Shapiro never gets his wife wet.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Huh, insinuating someone's spouse is shaped like a Cybertruck is quite the unique insult

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

To each their own I guess. Must have reached puberty during the original Tomb Raider period.

[–] fsxylo 13 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I saw a cyber truck with the default paint and it looks like a 20 year old car already.

The jet black painted ones kinda look cool, until I remember the car itself sucks ass.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago

default paint is none!

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 months ago

Elon Musk made water catch fire?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Can you imagine being in the road with a hotie in you cybertruck thinking you won in life an then starts to rain

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Or she gets wet and you all catch on fire

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

A woman getting wet in a cyber truck??? Not possible

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago

Sure it's possible. For instance, the Cybertruck could run into a fire hydrant

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

[hottie] in [your] cybertruck thinking you won in life [and] then starts to rain

It's like raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaainnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.... (apologies to Alanis)

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

Batteries and water don't mix, I mean they can, but they shouldn't

Remember that non electric cars are still dangerous too. I saw a gas car wreck today on the side of the interstate that had 2 firetrucks, an ambulance and about 3 cop cars. That isn't going to make the same level of national attention as this is.

News sites like to over dramatize green energy dangers and will tell you that birds running Into windmills is a massive issue and ignore that statistically fossil fuels cause ~50x more bird deaths per unit of energy than windmills (iirc).

Yes, the cybertruck sucks and probably should be banned, but it's still green energy and you can't let it distract you from the benefits of all electric vehicles.

I saw a guy on Facebook who decided to load two kayaks into it. Like why would you think that was a good transport for kayaks? Looked ridiculous.
