I think great hiking boots like Merrel and Vasque have incredible warranties. Like: just contact us and get it replaced or repaired.

From a 20+ year veteran of the tech industry, this is great- but it’s a very long way of saying “it depends”.

One of the most frustrating things I deal with when talking to junior folks is that they almost always are asking the wrong question with too little context. They, in turn, are super frustrated with my answering questions with more questions
