I don't speak Spanish, but based on the absolutely tiny bit I do know, would this mean quesadillas would become "little cheesies"?
So, apparently it comes from "quesada" which was a form of cheesecake, and the "illa" diminutive ending. Over time it has come to mean a fried tortilla with cheese and other fillings.... except...
In Mexico City, quesadillas don't necessarily have cheese in them. The rest of the country makes fun of them for it. But, if you're ever in Mexico City and want a nice cheesy quesadilla, be sure to order a "quesadilla con queso".
Damn it, now I'm hungry.

What the fuck is "taco" in English?
Probably something like a “ground beef, cheese, tomato and lettuce flatbread sandwich with a drizzle of tomato based sauce.” Which is folded like a taco and looks exactly like a taco, but is definitely not a taco.

The U.S. government announces that four more words will no longer be permitted for use within scientific documents: Taco, Burrito, Quesadilla and Fajita.
I feel like this is fake.
Two reasons. I was unable to find a video clip of this, and it's not nearly racist enough for these shit-hawks.

It's definitely fake. The screenshot is from around the 4:37 timestamp.
Sadly, it doesn't matter if he said it when it is entirely reasonable to believe that he did. It isn't the most racist or the stupidest thing this guy has said on national television.
I mean, third reason, he's labeled as "Homan" which seems pretty close to Human but just a bit off. And that's simply too on-the-nose for the topic.
At this point, I'm not completely sure that this administration has really only appointed the most qualified people for those cabinet positions.
