I’ve never agreed with this sentiment. A calzone is much easier to eat and handle.
Less greasy when holding it, and lower chance of ingredients spilling everywhere.
And tempura is just middle class KFC
That would be karaage. Chicken is not prepared as tempura.

Is a Beef Wellington expensive or classy? It just looks like a bigger corndog to me. I've never had a wellington before so I have no idea what to expect.
Have you had tenderloin beef? Have you had pastry? You know what it tastes like and no, you're not missing anything unless you think boring unseasoned bland meat is good. Personally I'd rather have a great sear on a slab of meat lightly salt/peppered and get on with life.
Why does the meat have to be unseasoned?? You know you can season it right?
Yeah I should have clarified. Steaming meat in pastry forgoes the Maillard reaction so it ends up as a roll of bland ingredients that have been "wasted" in the sense they didn't at all live up to their flavor potential.
You can also pre-sear the meat to get the maillard reaction

It is a hot dog that is dipped in corn batter and deep fried, often served on a stick as snack bar or fair food.
See also a sausage dog which replaces the hot dog with breakfast sausage, and often replaces the corn batter for pancake-like batter.

Oh I thought it was just bland ass English food.
Ok so Beef Wellington is made with an actual BEEF muscle and hotdogs are made with PORK and pork fat pureed and jammed inside a casing. Beef Wellington is topped in mushrooms and mustard then wrapped in a wheat-flour pastry, while Corn Dogs are just battered in a sugary Corn Slurry.
This is such a stretch lol
Hot dogs are made of whatever kind of processed meat you want. There are beef hot dogs, pork hot dogs, beef and pork, turkey, etc.
