Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

And guess what? They'll still blame the Democrats and do 0 actual research into what the problems are and/ or how to solve them..

When all mainstream media only tells them Trump's lies, it's hard to get outside of the bubble.

Mine usually stops at "I voted Republican" because that individual is clearly not aware enough to be considered a sentient being.

it's all 'ok' with them, as long as he hurts those blacks and gays in the city and the dreadfully horrible liberals that wanna help everybody and the planet.

This is the truth. The point of singling out minorities for the harshest policy is to make their white supporters happier and quieter about being ducked a little less roughly.

Ducked? "Once you go quack, you won't go back."

Yeah. Duh. The Republicans do that every time. Trump wasn't the first and he won't be the last. They've successfully tricked half of America to care more about what genitals the person in the stall next to you has than whether your kids will survive to their 50s.

He could be the last, most of his policies are the type of shit that could collapse the federal government. Frankly speaking we are mirroring the Soviets disturbingly closely, one of the few upsides is that I dont think there will be a Russia equivalent.

The man who publicly lied on average 20 times a day even when fact checked and told he was wrong doubled down and embraced the lies, lied again?! Shocked, I say. I'm shocked! /s.

They didn't vote for him so much as choose something other than the opposite party. In a first past the post voting system there is only the illusion of choice, it will always devolve into a duopoly.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 days ago

Not at all. Rural and conservative Americans want those policies.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 4 days ago

Ah yes just like the Torrie supporting UK farmers.

Uh, no shit? We all knew this was coming.

[–] knobbysideup 9 points 4 days ago

Oh no. Anyway.

Read "Faith" as "Filth" at first. Because you know, Trump voters.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 days ago

They’re either voting for the person with the R or the D next to their name. Policies don’t actually matter.

[–] ZombiFrancis 4 points 4 days ago

The fuck they ever were.
