Trustpilot tries to weed out fake reviews. A huge influx of reviews all at once looks like fake reviews. And, to be fair, I imagine a chunk of those reviews are "fake" in that the reviewers never used the app. It's easier for Trustpilot to cut off new reviews for the time being than to deal with evaluating all these new reviews.

Milhouse is not a meme.

I mean, that would have been true up until very recently in history.

Ellipses as pauses is a leftover of telegrams which bled into the era of limited text messages(and/or charging by the text), because the financial incentives for long single messages were the same.

In the era of unlimited texting, though, we've dropped that convention because it's extra keystrokes. In fact, we've even dropped the period at the end of sentences in texts because you can just hit the send button as a thought separator, sending multiple texts.

Including the period is unnecessary extra information, so it is seen as formal at best or even a way to covey unhappiness, anger, or frustration.

Hope this helps! Note that none of this applies to longer form messages like this one.

I found this beauty on a Wednesday hike. Carried it for a few miles before leaving it in the park for the next stick enthusiast.

You are going to kill someone.

For anyone reading this - do not do this. There is a huge risk of aspirating on your own vomit and dying because you don't wake up due to the sleeping pill.

Good to know that other manufacturers have added the foam! I miss how quiet the car was on the road. Last changed my tires in 2020, and I didn't see any all weather tires with dampening foam at the time in the size that I needed.

This is probably the case unless the new Model 3s are significantly lighter than the 2018 model.

Needing to replace tires sooner on my Model 3 is my lived experience. The factory tires wore out after 35,000 mi, when previously I had been getting new tires every 60,000 mi.

I have never owned an SUV - I was comparing my tire longevity to my previous sedan, which admittedly was a compact.
