Yeah... I don't think there is actually good proof that something being illegal actually stops a meaningful number of things on its own. There are plenty of studies that people do things that are socially frowned upon less IN FRONT OF OTHER PEOPLE (say littering for example), but very weak evidence it stops such activity in any meaningful way in private settings. Likewise there is plenty of evidence that other forms of punishment (which is to say, no immediate social stigma) actually don't really correlate with reduced activity at all.

You need to do whats best for yourself, but it sounds like Israel would be a better place with your voice in it.

No? Look there are weird racists for everything, but generally Italian and Irish racism is like 100 years out of fashion.

Even 400 spread over a whole day, if you are healthy, you wont feel it in a bad way. Conversely, don't just down 2 back to back.

Obviously this is fake, but if it was spinning off steam from the game developer, then maybe?

You can dress how you want. If you see a millennial reaction weirdly to what you are wearing, its likely them cringing at a memory of when they wore something similar as a kid. Cyclical fashion trends and all that. With that said, our culture does have a huge issue with fast fashion, and I'd encourage simpler higher quality clothes that wont cycle with trends as often, for the sake of not destroying the planet.

Its hard to do an apples to apples comparison, because like conflicts change. But Trump dropped more bombs per year than Obama did. The number under him also sharply increased for his first year and than decreased year by year after.

Everyone learns for a first time, often through a negative experience. You should take the opportunity to promote FOSS alternatives rather than semi-gloat about your foresight.

I feel like you all like to invent people to pretend you've upset. I don't really consider myself a lib, but in classic left fashion, people to the left of me will call me one. The only time I start downvoting stuff about Biden is when its clearly false or its people saying they aren't going to vote (or worse, will vote for trump). Frankly I think most of those people are likely fake. You want to point out bad stuff about Biden, please do. You want to push him on issues, please do. You want to fight grassroots for better elected officials where you can get them in, please do. Just don't lie and don't decide to give up on the idea of governance all together (see accelerationism).

Cheese and olives is a pretty classic combo? The acidity and brine helps cut through the fattyness of the cheese. You see it in all sorts of antipasto platters. Not sure about the hotdog though.

If I'm truly unprepared I'll just recommend we play a board game instead. With that said, if we are playing in a larger campaign I've often prepared lots of things that haven't been used with because they seemed like a likely path at some point that went untaken, and I might just nudge players in one of those directions and balance any numbers on the fly if it was prepped a couple levels before.

A question for the Guardian, not OP. But some quick googling shows it being refereed to that way is common at least in English reporting. Not sure how its referenced in Taiwan.
