As a bonus: I think I've found his VK page. Name fits, city fits, soccer interests fit, age is faked by adding years to avoid age restrictions, political position is not democratic but rather pro-Wagner and anti-Putin, more like an 'angry patriots' crowd. Not a direct link due to good taste rules, but he is googlable by his name I put in bold and the end of his handle is numbers. This account is new but it's created and started posting before the war. These articles mention another status in his bio, but as it wasn't posted, I can't tell if someone changed it - yet, it also tracks with Prigo worship.

My opinion #1: The boy is real, he is charged and his process is silenced in federal news, everything posted kinda tracks. We can't verify his connection to the armed russian fighters on ukrainian side, but he doesn't like Putin and was fanboying after Prigo's macho vibes, so he could try to contact them, and then dropped it? That part of the story is told by NGOs with a big local rep, so I trust them to fill that hole.

My opinion #2: OP has probably mistaken ML instance for another one and after the mods noticed it (and proofs started to appear) they deleted the post due to their bias alone.

After someone mentioned me without tagging me on the Return2Ozma thread drama, I decided to Lemmy search my name to see what else I was missing out on. I didn't realize I was so popular with the "People who defend tankies" demographic of Lemmy! Apparently, I'm a brainrotted liberal debate lord (simultanously, without any beliefs) who hates every leftist movement in existence, is a wedge between liberals and leftists, and sees imaginary tankies everywhere.

I mean, obviously, since I've made a whole 9 posts about them, including posts on "MeanwhileOnGrad" (5 if you exclude MeanwhileOnGrad and TankieJerk), over my past year on the Fediverse (out of ~1,570 total posts). Clearly, if it wasn't for me, the leftists would have finally joined hands with the liberals to sing kumbaya together.

That's a lot of work I have to put in when all I want to do is browse politics and post history minutiae without having to worry about people advocating genocide or fascism, but I wouldn't want to disappoint any of them!

Also, apparently they think I'm Yeetpics? Which is a strange connection to make, considering our writing styles are... very different.

What I have learned:

• Which NATO started
• A lot of people in the West think that Ukraine should surrender
• Also Ukraine was the world's main provider of CSAM
• Also Ukraine is exploited by the West but if they can unite with Russia then their economy and everything else will finally be alright

It's literally like a bizarro world and everyone is over there agreeing with it. I'm genuinely confused by, who even are these people (what is the mixture of Russian bots / Russian-aligned ordinary people / confused Westerners / some other explanation.)
