Back then, Exploding-heads was edgy and the admins there were actively trying to moderate their instance and communicate and work along other instances to make theirs more palatable. I warned against defederation because otherwise, it'd create echo chambers that'd run opposite to the concept of federated websites.

Because SJW is set by democracy, or used to be, that means that Exploding-Heads was defederated, and other instances took note and also defederated. With no need to interact with the rest of the fediverse, they dropped their masks and adopted neo-nazi bigotry and hatred. They were probably always like that, I don't know, Exploding-heads wasn't something I kept track of after it got defederated.

Again, bans are handled differently in MoG. They are 24 hours and double in time per infraction. There is no such thing as a permanent ban. Right now no user should be banned.
