That job must be so frustrating... People can be such assholes.

[โ€“] [email protected] 31 points 1 year ago (7 children)

People who blare their car stereos and people with excessively loud motorcycles.

[โ€“] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Oh yeah, fuck those loud motorcycles (please just use an electric one, they are superior in almost every way by now (but cost...)). I don't get how these assholes enjoy annoying everyone around them, especially when driving through highly populated areas.

I haven't heard a truly loud motorcycle in a very long time, but just today some old guy drives this huge hog up the street and you can hear it coming from a mile away.

People who block the whole aisle with their shopping cart.

People who open their car door on the street without looking for traffic.

People who won't get out of the left lane.

Take your pick.

[โ€“] [email protected] 22 points 1 year ago

People who park in bike lanes

[โ€“] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I, also, hate those people, are we the same person?

Defilers of public washrooms. I've been doing a lot of travel recently. I have an ostomy so I haven't had to "sit down" in a bathroom for several years but for decades before that I did have to do that frequently due to a chronic illness. Travel then was a sheer nightmare of filthy bathroom after filthy bathroom. I still feel anger on behalf of others like me or people traveling with small children etc.

The people that basically destroy toilet stalls are the worst. I walked into a stall yesterday and it was soaked from one end to the other including all over the seat, etc. There was so much on the floor it was obvious this was intentional. Why? What kind of monster did this?

That same trip I went into a bathroom and every stall was inexplicably filled with guys just hanging out. There was a bunch of them all getting changed or something. I waited 15 minutes before giving up. I had nothing better to do since every flight is basically delayed now. I know there's really nowhere else to get changed in an airport but maybe, you know, go two at a time. Other people exist.

Anyway, people who are just cruel in an anonymous, nihlist way. That's it.

Im convinced most the piss you see all over the place is from little boys

Also accepted: grown women doing the hover-and-spray.

Source - cleaned public restrooms. Don't get me started...

[โ€“] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Just my opinion but you can teach children not to do this.

You patiently but firmly get them to clean it up when they do it. They don't get to do anything else until it's done. They will stop doing it.

You don't do it if they were panicked, half asleep, or not feeling well and if they need help doing it, you help, but you don't just let them walk away from it if it happened in the normal course of events (and yelling "you peed everywhere again" doesn't count).

This is the kind of thing you have to do. It's easier to just yell at them and clean it yourself. It's actually much easier.

People who are in their car, driving.
This is only whole they are driving, and it applies to almost every person.
People really lose it when they are driving a vehicle. Either they are a psycho behind the wheel or too non committal and mess up traffic.

I am included in this data set, I'm both groups, depending on the day.

People who murder 7 babies

[โ€“] [email protected] 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I know that it might not be popular for the sorts of people who are into this kind of thing, but murderers and rapists are not my favorite people.

[โ€“] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

you should post this in the unpopular opinion community

6 babies ok? What about 8? Asking for a friend.

[โ€“] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago

If a person killed 8 babies, by definition, they have killed 7, and thus fit the "worst" standard that OP specified.

There are those who are petty and cruel, who enjoy tormenting the weak just for the fun of it.

There are those who are bigoted and desperate, who lash out at outsiders who never did a thing to harm them.

There are those who are manipulative and controlling, who deprive others of their freedom and independence.

There are those who are deceitful and vengeful, who entrap others into situations where they can exploit them and pretend it's justified.

There are those who are selfish and traitorous, who backstab someone who's just helped them.

And that's just in the first part of Baldur's Gate 3.

"Christians", specifically those in the US.

[โ€“] [email protected] 13 points 1 year ago

People who are unable to feel empathy for others outside of their "in-group". Racism, oppression, genocide, all of it stems from that same basic disorder. Unfortunately this is an all too common trait in humans.

[โ€“] [email protected] 13 points 1 year ago

People who play music through speakers while hiking.

[โ€“] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

People who lean into being douche bags/trashy because pissing off/offending other people is the only thing that makes them feel good about themselves.

They often wear shirts that say stuff like "FBI, Female Body Inspector" or "You stomp my flag, I stomp you." With a picture of the American flag on it.

They often drive lifted trucks with fat offroad tires and push bars with a punisher skull or some kind of gun-related/blue lives matter decal stuck on the back.

[โ€“] [email protected] 9 points 1 year ago (3 children)

People who steal / collect the eggs of endangered birds.

  • drivers of lifted trucks
  • drivers of UTVs
  • owners of vehicles with obnoxious exhausts or stereos
  • people who park their shopping carts next to other carts in the aisle so no one can pass. Also accepted: walking three-abreast in the aisle.

This is far as I can go in the list without risking a stroke.

We're not in a good place as a species when the first answer that comes to mind is "where do we even start with this?"

After some thought, my answer would be people who sacrifice another's long term prosperity for short term enjoyment. That's what most of my answers boil down to.
