Nothing will meaningfully improve until the rich fear for their lives

They did for a little bit..

And things improved for a little bit - Blue Cross Blue Shield rolled back their dystopian anesthesia time limit policy immediately after the UHC assassination. Can't argue with the results!

The Democrats keep turning up to the dawn duel with a sword as agreed, while the Republicans turn up with a pistol because fuck the rules. Then the Democrats say "no, no, I'll continue with the sword because that's the rules", get slaughtered, and then wonder what went wrong. One day I hope they'll realise you can't beat an opponent who's not even playing the game.

The dems ceded authority over to the Republicans when they appointed Merrick Garland as ag back when they had control over the ag confirmation process. Garland is a conservative. No one really knows why.

We do know the reason the democrats are so incompetent is because of the sheer number of conservatives in their party. The conservative wing tries to sabotage the progressive wing. And it has always been this way. The party should not be so diverse. The market Liberals should have their own party like in canada.

Hell, they’re turning up to a knife fight with a deck of cards, and the Republicans are bringing fucking Uzis. The DNC is fully a joke at this point. Sure, they suck (marginally) less than the GOP at actually governing, but they couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag - nor do they appear to be interested in fighting their way out of said paper bag. It’s fucking embarrassing.

It's like it's intentional at this point.

It’s getting harder and harder to disagree with that statement

Not having any consequences seems a lot like being exonerated.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 12 hours ago

But it's important we make the distinction because otherwise we look like complete fools! /s

Sure, whatever you say. He might not technically be exonerated, but he might as well be. You had 4 fucking years to actually do something about Trump, but this is the system working as intended. The US keeps drifting further and further right with power further consolidating in the hands of billionaires and corporations, while the Democrats sit on their asses and act like they're completely helpless to do anything meaningful to actually help ordinary people while in power. Then when they lose elections they get to blame minorities or leftists and use it as an excuse to drift further right.

The Little Fucking Austrian Corporal was thrown into prison for treason. WTF AmeriKa?

[–] [email protected] 26 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Sounds like Trump needs to resign or prepare to be dragged out of the White House

[–] [email protected] 36 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

We both know he’s not getting arrested for anything.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

That’s why I said what I did

[–] [email protected] 14 points 17 hours ago (2 children)

No one is going to drag him out of anywhere.

[–] [email protected] 24 points 17 hours ago

Not with that attitude

[–] [email protected] 14 points 17 hours ago

Not with how many cheese burgers he eats they aren't.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 15 hours ago

Will he face any consequences?

Will anyone even care?

I dunno Jack, he seems pretty exonerated to me.

The president of the United States is above the law.
