Nothing will meaningfully improve until the rich fear for their lives
They did for a little bit..
And things improved for a little bit - Blue Cross Blue Shield rolled back their dystopian anesthesia time limit policy immediately after the UHC assassination. Can't argue with the results!
That anaesthesia policy was completely misread by us lefties. From what I understand, some anaesthesiologists (the highest paid professions in the world) were deliberately inflating the numbers on certain procedures to get more money from the patient and their insurances.
Doctors reports of procedure length weren't matching up with the anaesthesiologists, and the new limits were apparently well within expected procedure ranges. It had caveats for if the doctor reported that the procedure ran long, so patients wouldn't get stung by complications.
The only people that won was the anaesthesiologists and their (now E en moreso) enormous payslips.
