Also a very strange coincidence that both of these men have been accused of extremely appropriate behaviour by countless witnesses!!!

[–] [email protected] 45 points 3 months ago

Had me in the first half, not gonna lie.

Probably genetics and not being in politics. That kind of stress ages you fast.

[–] [email protected] 48 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Is it genetics or is it that Weird Al is a god among men?

[–] [email protected] 15 points 3 months ago (1 children)

there's a joke about jesus here, that i failed to construct.

[–] [email protected] 34 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Could be worse, could have nailed it.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I would explain the joke, but i think the point is already a cross

[–] [email protected] 12 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I'm sure you'll be coming again to tell this joke in the future.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago

!RemindMe 3 days

[–] [email protected] 22 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Weird Al is vegan. That and not engaging in the typical Rock Star coke diet goes a long way.

And lasagna.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Man, I fucking love rocky road.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago

Yup the whole foods plant-based diet keeps your face clear and reduces your biological age. Tim Walz had too much bbq meat but he can change for the better in the future.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Also money for personal trainers and the free time to engage in working out.

[–] [email protected] 48 points 3 months ago (3 children)

Hey that's actually wild, I gotta know how Al takes care of himself, rather look like him than Walz when I'm their ages.

[–] [email protected] 39 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Not being a schoolteacher probably helps!

[–] [email protected] 41 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Making a ton of money doing what you love probably doesn’t hurt either.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 3 months ago (1 children)

And not binging booze and drugs early in his career...

[–] [email protected] 12 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I'm going to chalk it up to the 🎵 aluminum foil 🎵

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

There's a big conspiracy!!

[–] [email protected] 9 points 3 months ago

The hair thing is mostly just genetics. So nothing really you can do about it naturally.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I would say genetics and he has a rather healthy lifestyle being vegan and all. I'm 40 now and i still look like 20 years ago. The other day i saw i guy i went to school with and he looked like my dad. He was smoking a pipe and had a crown haircut and grey hair and gained a lot of weight. Having 3 kids didn't help either i guess.

vegetarian* although I think he's said that he tries to avoid eggs and dairy. There does appear to be some emerging evidence that a vegan/vegetarian diet can significantly slow the epigenetic clock, but I don't know to what extent I trust that without more studies that can be reviewed in a meta-analysis (this 2024 study was performed on twins over the course of 8 weeks). Still, though, I won't complain if it turns out to be true.

Edit: I mean the reason Tim Walz has aged so much is because of how evil and hateful he is!!

This is kinda what I'm having difficulty with in modern Hollywood. 30 years ago you knew who was old and playing those parts because they were pretty naturally grey. Nowadays you have people attempting to play 20 year younger roles and it's obvious.

[–] [email protected] 33 points 3 months ago (2 children)

30 years ago they had guys in their late 30s playing high school students...

I have no idea why anyone like Grease. Everything about it is just wldly unsettling to ne

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago

It was released in the 70's. Everyone was on cocaine and wildly unsettling.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Did you know Christopher Lloyd was 47 when he played Doc Brown in Back to the Future?

[–] [email protected] 8 points 3 months ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 15 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Well I thought it was surprising, hah. Dude's been playing the old af guy for almost 50 years.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Yeah, you'd expect him to be older than 47.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

Ah, right. Sorry. Misunderstood your first comment.

[–] [email protected] 24 points 3 months ago

What the fuck.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 3 months ago

Come to think of it, I've never seen them in a room together...

[–] [email protected] 21 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Tim Walz is also younger than Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Ralph Macchio, Eddie Murphy and many others I personally didn't think they were over 60.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 3 months ago (1 children)

It's hard to tell Brad Pitt's age because he ages backwards according to that documentary I once saw about him. He's a curious case.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I have the weirdest memory about watching that movie. I watched it with a friend group of like 10 people. Some were more my friends and some were more the friends of friends.

When the movie was dumb someone said: wow, this was the biggest piece of shit i have ever seen. And i thought yeah, everyone would agree with that. Then i looked into the room and some of the other people were crying because they were so moved by the movie.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

I'm with you. I got through maybe 20 minutes of it and turned it off. Super boring.

[–] openrain502r 6 points 2 months ago

wait, weird al's 64? that's way older than I expected :P I was thinking 50 at most

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Can't believe I ever trusted him.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Tim Walz hasn't even written one funny song parody about food.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

That's so ~~bad~~ fat

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

It's the beard and the hair

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago
