This is absolutely true. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Young_Lincoln
It was completed in 1941?! That’s so much farther back than I would have expected based on the pose. Men weren’t sexy in the 1940’s, they just said “swell” and all had those thick black glasses.
I love how every generation thinks they’re the first one to discover sex. Like, how do you think you got here?
What? Men weren’t sexy?
My great aunt had photos up of my late great uncle doing pushups on a railroad track, in short shorts, with her sitting on his back. I can’t remember if the pictures was from before he went to war or after.
They did wear those high pants and dressed more formally, but it was because they had less clothes.
Seems too fun for after
He died before I was born, but the man was apparently very fun even after coming back from the war
Fun fact: Abraham Lincoln is in the wrestling hall of fame. He went 300-1 Source
Lol that sounds like some North Korean levels of propaganda.
You ever been to the Lincoln memorial? Dude was huge. Like 20 feet.
And built like he was made out of concrete.
Did you ever hear about Washington? 12 stories high, made of radiation.
Theo Roosevelt boxed a shit ton of people as well until he went blind in one eye from a punch from one of his staff if I remember correctly. Gave a pretty long speech after being shot in the torso and had the foresight to make sure they didn't kill the shooter. Tough guy. Lots of horse riding and outdoors in his life.
I don't know how true this is, but I've read he had asthma as a kid, but self-medicated by climbing mountains
Bro used to wrestle bears. He was a not great lawyer, he was however an amazing athlete by all acvounts. Marfans and possible heds is a weird combo (trust me) you've got leverage and undue flexibility, add some strength and you basically have a gimped octopus.
Skinny guys fight till they're burger.
Holding a book?
Stupid sexy Lincoln
Babe Lincoln
Baberaham Lincoln
Schwing!
We have historical Records where Abe describes himself as 'Ugly', this statue seems historically inaccurate.
Best part of being a guy is you can be so ugly you actually start being somewhat attractive. Like Williem Dafoe. A huge dong helps too. Like Willie Da...I mean Williem Dafoe.
Or Adam driver, who disproves every theory about facial symettry.
This the youngest picture of him I could find. He's 37 or 38. Obviously he'd look different in high-def, but he doesn't look so bad:
He's attractive and sexy, but not hot or pretty.
If that even makes sense.
Daniel Craig makes a cameo on What We Do In the Shadows
If social media has taught me anything, it's that incredibly sexy people find themselves ugly all the time.
Um why?
It's called art, sweetie.
Americans have made their politics into a mythology and lincoln is basically their jesus. As it turns out not exactly jesus, but you get the point.
This is true. We're a young country, so we make our historical figures mythos
That's not Gavin Newsom?
I thought it looked like him too, but alas, no. Would be funny if every governer had almost naked statues of themselves as just a thing Californians do. Not even realistic ones, although Arnold in his prime would look straight up classic.
Lincoln filling out them grey sweats
Purple mountains Majesty
I see you've found Abe Lincoln's pre-electricity attempt at an Instagram account... or is that his OnlyFans?
Im getting some david bowie vibes
His hands are huge. 👀
Yaoi hands for yaoi Lincoln
Is this the US equivalent of that swole jesus statue?
Not really. Lincoln was a champion wrestler.
His thumb in his pants. I feel like I've seen Abe (not shirtless) posing this way before. It looks familiar.
Or it's just because I dated a guy that would lean back like that.
