I am even more convinced now than ever that the conspiracy theory I have been trying to start is true, they are covering up that he was shot in one ear and it went out the other without doing any damage whatsoever.

If you don't hear from me in 24 hours, they got to me, man, the MIB got to me

Trump's doctor, Ronnie Jackson, said the bullet "produced a 2 cm wide wound that extended down to the cartilaginous surface of the ear." We are expected to believe that a 78 year old man completely healed a 2 cm (3/4 inch) wide ear wound, that went down to the cartilage, in less than two weeks.

These guys are lying through their teeth, again.

[–] [email protected] 41 points 1 month ago

I wouldn't be surprised if in that statement he also added, "trump is in the best shape of his life, has 2% body fat, and will live to be 132." Because we all know that doctor just loves lying out of his ass. Does he even still have his license to practice medicine considering he is a fraud?

Must be another example of Trump's good genes! The best, big huge beautiful genes!

It’s in honor of Deadpool & Wolverine being released on Friday. Mutant healing ability pride weekend.

Two centimeters long by how wide? Zero? And maybe .1 deep? Like a papercut? Something like that could possibly get stitched or glued together in the allowed time. But it would definitely be shrapnel in that case, or his own fingernail. Like, if he felt a bullet go past, realized and ducked, then felt foolish and decided it would be better publicity with a wound instead of the focus being on him crouching for cover. I won't say cowering because it's an appropriate response to being shot at, but he would think it.

My heart goes out to the 3 very real victims, whose only crime was being idiot enough to be at a Trump rally. I hope the Trump campaign will put some money towards their medical bills (she said knowing they won't).

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 month ago

or his own fingernail

Quite a stretch to imply Trump would ever do anything to intentionally cause himself pain

He obviously milked it to the maximum. That ear bandage he was walking around with, was obviously a PR thing too. It did never look like a medical professional was anywhere near that.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Looked like a cocktail napkin.

Look, I hate the guy, but that is how you bandage an ear.

People got shot so that parts real.

He could have been nicked or he could have caught it on a sharp point bending down or he could have cut it with a fingernail.

My money is on the fingernail. He's probably on blood thinners. He's probably got thin, brittle skin. He probably clawed at his ear when the bullet whizzed by.

He could easily have nicked it. A nick can bleed like crazy and also heal very fast.

From there it's all spin...

The simplest explanation is probably this given how fast it healed, I guess.

[–] [email protected] 31 points 1 month ago (1 children)

that is how you bandage an ear.

No. Its not.

Source: many years as a nurse, several in emergency care.

I don't doubt, that he was grazed by a bullet or a shrapnel. I'm just saying he milked it and that bandage was not professional.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

I had a cancer removed from my ear and they bandaged it a lot like this? There are two primary means if bandaging an ear and they both look ridiculous. I have no doubt he got them to "make it look like a big deal" but you are not slapping a bandaid on that and calling it a day, right?

Edit - Moh's surgery dressing is what I'm talking about.

In case it gets taken down completely:

There have been re-creations on YouTube with ballistics gel and pig ears showing what happens to an ear shot by an AR-15 round, I'm not going to lay judgement, just watch the video:

FBI Chief Wray was very careful saying that "Bullet or Shrapnel that Hit Trump's Ear", leaving things ambiguous. It set off some discussion online last week, with people wondering why he didn't just say "The bullet that hit Trump's Ear".

I guess FBI Chief knew something was up already and was already hedging his bets. Well, I'd expect intelligence to... well... know things before everyone else.

Obviously Trump was bleeding from his ear. Something absolutely hit it. But if its healed this well by now, it probably wasn't an AR-15 round.

Very interesting. I don't think Trump can just leave that thing bandaged up for the next few months, everyone knows he's gotta take the bandage off permanently eventually. The truth will come out.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Old people bleed extremely easily. I wouldn't be surprised if he caught/scratched his ear on the way down.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (2 children)

The footage has Trump grab his ear midspeech, look around and get down immediately.

Something hit Trump's ear. Its so weird that the Trump team thought it'd be best to pretend it was a bullet this whole time, surely they would have seen the wound and would have known?

Any doctor who saw the ear afterwards would have been able to say Bullet vs Glass vs whatever based on what they saw. If this whole "bullet to the ear" thing ends up being a massive lie created by Trump's team, that speaks poorly of this upcomming election. Especially if it becomes representative of Trump's lying and how much he makes his followers look like a fool.

If it ends up to be a true bullet-to-the-ear scenario, then whatever. Kamala looks like she was on her way to gaining momentum for the near future anyway and she has much better chances than I ever expected. (She's not winning in the polls yet, but her energy is palpable. I can believe that she can turn this around between now and November, even without relying upon this weird ear thing going on...)

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 month ago (2 children)

That’s the point I started to wonder: He grabs his ear, lowers his hand, and there’s nothing on it. Not even a tiny bit of blood on his tiny little hand.

I’ve never been allegedly hit in the ear, but most head wounds bleed immediately, and profusely.

Still, in this post do we know we’re looking at the right side of his big fat head? Photos are easily mirrored.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 month ago (1 children)

In the moments after a traumatic wound the blood vessels will momentarily contract before releasing again. I’ve cut myself before and had it take a few moments before it starts bleeding. Not saying this isn’t really sus, just that the specific thing you mentioned isn’t a (pardon the pun) smoking gun.

Photos are easily mirrored but Trump's hairstyle is reliably Trump's right to Trump's left. So this alleged photograph is definitely of Trump's right ear.

With the AP seeming to withdraw this photograph, there's some controversy at play here. But AP is a well respected news brand. Surely they'd write about a story if they found something here.

He fucked up, or his doctors are miracle workers.

[–] [email protected] 31 points 1 month ago

I'mma roll with #45 effed up. Forgot his fake bandage, and nobody bothered to remind him.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 month ago

He's just a terrific healer. Like a more orange Wolverine.

I swear I read a chunk was supposedly missing from his ear.

[–] [email protected] 56 points 1 month ago

Yeah, a lie promoted by his campaign and his doctor who doesn't have a fucking medical license.

Doesn't matter to his base. The fact that he was shot at makes him a martyr in their eyes (he was always their chosen one).

Just make sure we vote in numbers that can't be ignored. 🔵 🔵 🔵

[–] [email protected] 21 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (3 children)

Oh no. This matters to his base because we can embarrass them with this picture moving forward.

They truly believe that Trump was hit by the bullet, and is missing a piece of his ear because of it.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 1 month ago (1 children)

They won't get embarrassed. They were diapers, so they are like him...

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 month ago (1 children)

All the Trump supporters I know call themselves "Moderates" and are "only asking questions".

They're already too embarrassed to call themselves Republican.

Pete Souze disabled his account because of comments by the MAGA crowd.

https://petapixel.com/2024/07/29/photographer-pete-souza-deletes-x-account-after-controversial-trump-post/

“I re-posted a screenshot of New York Times photographer Doug Mills’ Twitter post of the same situation of Trump boarding his plane, which included the date and time of his photo. Doug is one of Trump’s favorite photographers and Trump has publicly called him ‘my genius photographer.’ So I thought the maga world would at least believe Doug Mills.”

“They didn’t. The comments turned ugly. Mostly about me, but also some that disparaged Doug Mills,” Souza continues.

“So I de-activated my Twitter account. It was a gut decision, made only by me. I am still not sure if this is a temporary or a permanent action,” Souza continues.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 month ago (3 children)

Couldn't the image have simply been flipped along the vertical axis?

[–] [email protected] 22 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

It could have, yes. Would an AP photographer and or Pete Souza do that? Very highly unlikely. He also combs his hair that way.

You could also ask,
Couldn't the picture have simply been made with ai?

The answer to both questions is the same.

His hairstyle isn’t symmetrical though. It has a side-part on the opposite side of his injured ear. So unless he suddenly decided to change the part of his hair (which, when you consider how involved it actually is because it’s a massive combover) it’s unlikely to be a flipped image.

In short: Because we can’t see his hair part in this image, we know it’s likely not flipped.

"Listen. I just have the best body. My ear did all the healing and it did it so good. The doctors can't believe it, they say no human has ever healed this fast before."

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Is it possible he was splashed with blood from one of the other victims?

[–] [email protected] 35 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The more plausible explanation is that he was grazed by a piece of shrapnel.

He put that stupid big bandage on for theatrics.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 month ago

There's not even a nick in that photo.

Who's to say it wasn't an SS agent that got hit with the shrapnel?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 month ago

Jesus healed it. Praise be!

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It raises eyebrows because the suspicion that he’s part Ferengi is confirmed

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 month ago (2 children)

A cast out then. Even Ferengi have rules and standards.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 month ago

Ferengi like casinos that don't go bankrupt.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 month ago

There’s no way a ferengi would bankrupt a casino.
