Stick, easiest choice of my life

Rock, easiest choice of my life

[–] [email protected] 15 points 3 months ago (1 children)

You bring up a pretty strong argument, but I'll have to stick with my original choice chief

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Look at that rock tho. One in a billion rock, right there.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

It def is a pretty fuckin' nice rock, gotta say

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

Hmm... You make a lot of arguments that are easily countered by the perfect choice of STICK!

[–] [email protected] 39 points 3 months ago

Stick every time

[–] [email protected] 30 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (2 children)

Rock is the better investment here. Stick will decay and wither away. Rock is stronk and will last longer.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago

From the moment I understood the weakness of wood, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of stone. Your kind cling to your wood, as if it will not decay and fail you. One day, the crude biomass that you call the stick will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved. For the rock is immortal. Even in death, I serve the Fossilliah.

Plus it beats scissors.

[–] [email protected] 24 points 3 months ago

Nature has a much harder job creating the perfect rock. I’ll take it and keep my eyes out for another perfect stick.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 3 months ago

Stick because no way am I going to control the urge to skip that rock across the largest local body of water and it's gone.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

Rock; stick can be carved easily.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago

...with the rock.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Stick so I can share it with a dog. In a pinch, the stick can be broken and become more sticks. This is especially useful in a multi-dog scenario.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago (1 children)

But the dogs don't need a perfect stick, they're content with the stick they're given.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 3 months ago

They don't need it but they're worth it.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 3 months ago
[–] [email protected] 10 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I'd be so scared I'd break the stick.

[–] [email protected] 27 points 3 months ago

It sounds like you’re imagining a stick with an imperfection…

[–] [email protected] 8 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Obviously the stick, what are you going to do with a stupid rock?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

That rock would skip so fucking good, ooooh doggy!

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago

Easy, the stick. The rock isn't as round as the earth. The stick can build technique.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago (1 children)

This is why I wear cargo shorts

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Finally My time

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

Witch. No stick is perfect nor is any rock...

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Stick seems much more useful

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Then use the stick to take the rock. Smarmt.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

*humanity figures out warfare, colorized*

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Big talk for someone in throwing distance.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

You're acting as if my stick doesn't work as a throwing spear

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

Stick sword definitely

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Stick like that you can find on every third tree. I have never seen stone like that, definitely not IRL.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

I have a rock just like the one pictured. Generally found in riverbeds or beaches that haven't turned it all into sand yet.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

The stick, it has hand guards!

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Rock, what use would have a stick?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

I upvoted. But I also banned u/sjmarfx. Take from that what you will.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

Why be poor? I would rather take Netanyahu's head.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Obviously the rock.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

The rock. I already have a sword.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Are we going to have a duel?
