It can't deal with small fast targets well, and definitely not when they close the gap on you, you will blow your own ass up. But other than that... That's wifey right there

It can't get reasonable TTK on chargers or bile titans.

AC will chew through solid metal like butter. But if you shoot it at a carapace, bounces right off without a scratch….

I use the autocannon but sometimes I really can't tell where I'm supposed to be aiming aside from "at the red dot"

I could have just been shooting poorly. I was on suicide difficulty, idk if that makes a difference.

Difficulty selection only changes the amount and types of enemies you face in a mission. Health and armor stays the same for each enemy type.

Which is also my favorite part about this game; so tired of lazy difficulty scaling where higher difficulty just means health/damage is higher for enemies and lower for player.

A good hit will cause fire to spray out of the "face". A second good hit should blow the face out.

I've noticed the first hit has a flame spout out of the eye, and the 2nd hit brings it down. Any other shots in between I assume are misses because there's 3 other hulks rushing me and oh god oh god...

I managed to one-shot 3 of them last night with a quasar cannon shot right in the visor. Relatedly, I've learned laying down wildly improves the quasar cannon's accuracy.

The Ministry of Truth would like you to know that (unless it changed in a patch recently) the AMR can 2-shot Hulks if you hit their weak spot.

It's low and slightly to the right I think ? Basically, the correction is to aim higher and a bit to the left.

It's supposed to be fantastic at hitting weak spots, especially for the automatons.

I've not used it much because it feels less freedom-y than big explosions or flames.

Someone I play with is trying out the AMR, especially after the damage buff recently. Did pretty well on the bots, granted we're playing level 4-5

2 shot hulks to the face, most automatons with vents like tanks and turrets can be killed in 6ish shots, which is I think 1 short of a full mag. Doesn't take a backpack slot, very long range.

I find running it either as a stealth build w/jetpack/shield or with a Rover to clear trash quite fun. Harder to make work with bugs so bring lots of orbitals and strikes for chargers and bile titans.

It basically does a lot of what the autocannon can do (minus closing holes / destroying factories) and doesn't require losing your backpack slot. I love it

If you hate devastators and hulks, have decent aiming, and you are good at positioning and staying away from immediate danger it is amazing against bots

Vs bots it's amazing. 1 shots walkers if you hit their top leg joint. 1 shots devastators with a headshot and 2 shots with torso hits. 2 shots hulks with headshots. You have to hit turrets and tanks on the vent a few times to take them out, but I usually run a 110 rocket pod which almost always takes them out in 1 call-in.

The only problem with the AMR is the sights feel off and you gotta Kentucky windage it a bit.

It got a 30% damage buff very recently, so yes, it destroys bots.
