No. He's definitely guilty. And don't fool yourself into thinking a murder in cold blood, no matter how much some people wanted it, is justified. Make him your saint all you want but be honest in WHY you want him to be your saint. Everybody knows it's because he did something you like.
I'm gonna be crystal clear with you. whoever killed Brian Thompson is a hero. calling it "cold blood" with the thousands upon thousands of bodies in the ground due to the direction Brian was steering the ship is absolutely unhinged of you.
I don't think Luigi did it, if the evidence is legitimate then yes he definitely did but ACAB, they've planted evidence in much less high profile cases. I think it was planted.
we do agree on one thing though and it's that the hero worship Luigi is receiving is because he's attached to the killing of Brian Thompson. I'll say it again though, absolutely justified.

You seem to misunderstand the meaning of murder in cold blood. It means it was a calculated act not done out of immediate rage or reaction to a present act. In this case it was absolutely cold blood as the amount of time and effort spent planning and committing the murder allowed more than enough time for a rational mind to take over. Hot blood is a matter of moments to minutes. Not days, months, or years.
Whomever pulled the trigger did something we all like, I don’t think anyone is being dishonest or shy about that. Just like how most of the US was loving Seal Team 6 when they took out a famous mass murderer. Luigi is just a symbolic stand in since we don’t know the identity of the killer. And it doesn’t hurt that he’s very good looking.
You people act like denying medical claims which eventually lead to death was murder, when there were other options the ill might have taken. He didn't pull a trigger or order anyone to do so. These were dying people already. Nature pulled that trigger.
Don't get me wrong. I absolutely think it was a horrible thing to do as a large medical insurance provider, but you CANNOT conflate the CEO of an unethical company to a guy who orchestrated the direct killing of thousands of people in one attack.
I can compare those scenarios and I will, and I say there is no difference if 1000 people die at once or over a long time, the person still has a hand in 1000 deaths.
Brian Thompson was well paid for his actions as well, it was a choice he made.
