Possibly related:

The pay per flight hour is how much you get paid for every flying hour. Which means from the moment the door of the plane closes before takeoff, to the moment the door opens again at the plane's destination.

Oh, yes, I think so. I have one about that size now, and when the cat knocked it off the table last summer the broken twigs were only a few inches long, but they rooted quickly in water and are doing fine in a new pot now.

When they shiver the fanned tail -- crazy

Set "office hours" and stick to them. She can make a list of things to do. Maybe it needs to be 20 min every evening, or maybe just once or twice a week. My partner has a similar (but more minor) problem, and this has worked both increasing self-help and making the time spent more enjoyable. Though I'm sure it helps that the needy person doesn't live with us. Good luck

We got takeout lunch once for movers (not a full day) because it was convenient as we were already getting for ourselves, but otherwise I've always thought they'd prefer to leave and take a real break (and also often need to go to the store for something anyway). Maybe if there isn't any local takeout place nearby I'd offer something. It's good to keep in mind.

Tricky, as the Tesla would also have to be stopping/stopped for decent impact. Better as a cure for a tailgater, maybe.

My favorite houseplant! Just keeps blooming quietly away, easy to propagate by cuttings.

This is not remotely true, though perhaps a little less false among those taking international vacations. But also, it seems there is a list of specific people, whose participation in war crimes has been (self?)published to social media, who are most likely to be arrested, so possibly they will be found by name.

Ooh, I didn't know about that, but that makes sense so many raptors have those bars.

Reminds me of how cuttlefish make these ripply colors as they approach their prey: video takes a minute to get to the point

Different time scales, but maybe the same mesmerizing or visually confusing idea.

I feel like the libs are switched, am I wrong? I don't know any of the people in this picture.

Dude, this just makes me mad about the big box stores, you've got aisle after aisle of poisons, herbicide, pesticide, weed n feed, moss off, etc. I know the agriculture use is bigger, but the home/landscaper market has big margins for these companies and they push hard to make it seem normal. The suburbs could be a haven for insects and songbirds instead of a dumping ground for chemical waste.
