I'm on Lemmy all the time and I didn't know that community. But thanks for sharing, this is what I'm talking about.
Lmao. Btw I thought the lemmy.one admin was MIA, do you know about that?
Tbf you're on Lemmy 24/7 so you'll hear about things much earlier than many others. I've also been on Piefed for a minute.
But I've come to understand how slowly knowledge propagates through large numbers of people, at least via this medium. First with the APIcaplyse, when I realized that virtually nobody on reddit had even heard of the API changes, let alone moving to Lemmy. And then on Lemmy itself with various major events/dramas that people were totally unaware of until much later.
Piefed is developing rapidly and seems like a worthy alternative to Lemmy and Mbin. The private voting feature is also really cool.
Nah. That's the 2nd biggest server, most of their users are okay. They do get a lot of trolling from alt accounts since they're still federated with you know who tbf. But overall they are a valued component of the fediverse and they also provide a buffer for the rest of us.

Yeah playing with organized teams is so much better than soloQ. The entire game revolves around teamwork but then they throw 5 randos together with no voice chat and it's just an incubator for frustration.
Flaming is probably less now because the game is getting kinda old and people don't take it as seriously anymore. I haven't played in several years so idk.
I guess that's possible, I was just saying the two most likely things that came to mind. I wouldn't necessarily expect money launderers to rely on a teenager, but I also don't have any personal experience in this area.
Harsh but fair. Surprised Alex didn't pick up on this
Probably either from crypto or dealing drugs
I didn't downvote. But I didn't upvote either.
It's just not really a good meme at all, so it's going to get downvotes. That's what downvotes are for.
The more unusual circumstance is that it got so many upvotes despite being a crappy meme. This clearly indicates that we have a lot of Lemmy users who support trans youth. Good for us, that makes me glad. Still not good content for this particular community imho, so I didn't upvote.
Yeah I do this frequently. Then I randomly go back to people's profiles and often find interesting communities and threads that way.
lemmy.villa-straylight.social. That was a really cool concept for a server.
Also lemmy.beyondcombustion.net for vaporizers, I was sad to see that one go.
