This is the 8th known death at this facility this year. I say known, because from multiple parties I’ve heard that they’ll kick people out shortly before they are about to die to prevent news stories like this.

The federal government has previously tried to shut this place down.

But above all, they hate the idea that autistic people be allowed to transition.

They can’t call trans men sex pests (well, they can. I’ve been called a rapist because I must “trick” gay men.) The narrative that trans men are a threat doesn’t really work. So instead, we are little lost autistic girls who don’t understand our own bodies enough/are engaging in something akin to self harm.

Where are you getting that he had an MD? Looks like his dad did.

In 2011, the Maryland Board of Physicians charged David Geier, who is not a physician and has only a bachelor’s degree, with illegally practicing medicine alongside his father, Mark Geier, a doctor who died last month. The two treated children with Lupron, a drug used to lower testosterone or estrogen levels in patients with prostate cancer, endometriosis and other diseases, along with chelation therapy, which leaches heavy metals from the body, as in lead poisoning.

Why isn’t the right having a meltdown? This guy gave autistic kids puberty blockers.

I guess - ultimately, as a pragmatic/materialist person, I’d like to see something material. An example of good AI art. Something creative, something unique, something conveying some kind of deeper idea. Something like Hannah Höch?

Here’s a current collage project of mine that is maybe 25% done. The design of the coloring pages, the Lisa Frank stickers, the patterns on the paper - these are all not mine in design. But I think they have been demonstrably altered in a way that make them different.

I guess the old adage in literary endeavors is “show, don’t tell.” I want to see someone really use AI as an art form, but I’m just not seeing things that really come across as having much thought in them.

Do you have to have a certification? I’ve done some accounts payable type stuff before, I just don’t know how to approach that field.

I’m looking more Cauchy-Riemann than on the fly statistics.

Bibi himself:

And this attack and other attacks on the Jewish community in 1920, 1921, 1929, were instigated by a call of the Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin al-Husseini, who was later sought for war crimes in the Nuremberg trials because he had a central role in fomenting the final solution. He flew to Berlin. Hitler didn’t want to exterminate the Jews at the time, he wanted to expel the Jews. And Haj Amin al-Husseini went to Hitler and said, "If you expel them, they'll all come here." "So what should I do with them?" he asked. He said, “Burn them.”

It’s a fucked up way to insinuate that Hitler wouldn’t have suggested the Holocaust if not for Muslims. Which, no fuck that. I know I could Google “Poland pogram” and find some medieval account of mass graves or something entirely motivated by the fucking blood libel. Poisoning the wells (bubonic plague) or making matzo balls with the blood of gentiles.

It’s like the outrage that any criticism of Israel summons. That it’s antisemitic to say “yeah no this is pretty fucked up.” As if the fucking state of Israel under war criminal Bibi is identified with Judaism itself.

One of the things that shocks me to this day - I played a National Security Defense Game at GenCon as Bibi. I basically did what he has done. I played it as he did. I could not fucking win - everyone was like yah no you are a mega corrupt criminal. I was courting Trump, spreading conspiracy theories. I got booted the fuck out of office.

I retroactively win lol.

I’m completely and utterly burnt out of education, and queer anyway. I live in shithole, US and am desperate to move.

I am very good at math and science, and explaining how to do math to people. I have fairly severe ASD adjacent symptoms at the moment, eye contact is difficult and off putting tics or body posture are just not something I can’t avoid atm. This is a burnout phase, which I experience cyclically and is also related to periods of high stress.

I want a 9-5 with health insurance. I am hopelessly in forever debt, but live poor as shit anyway. I would like to move out of my shithole before they put on “f” on my drivers license. I have a decent size library that I want to transport to wherever I move.

I’ve had severe executive function breakdown related to actual physical torture and other things. What I am looking for is a path to owning a small home in a place that is welcoming to trans people and a job that requires less planning and more in the moment tasks. I have no desire to be wealthy, but I want a house with my name on it that no one can ever kick me out of.

I can program, I can read fast, I can pick up a lot of skills very quickly. I have a BA, BS, and most of an MS. I just can’t organize. I can’t plan out my to-do lists. I need something very difficult and interesting for someone to point me at.

Make Obnoxious Teenage Boys Read J D Salinger Again.

Better complaining about a bunch of “phonies” then “I’m the smartest and bestest boy and I could totally be on top of everything the government (my mom) didn’t make me have a bed time.”

The gates have opened.

Like breaking into a room in the fighter’s guild and finding a full set of glass armor.

P sure you’re thinking of a room at Ghostgate, not the fighters guild.

Morrowind stealth was actually broken. Pickpocketing even with max skill doesn’t work as intended.

Got any lawyers?

I got fired in retaliation for asking for accommodations and pointing out Title 9 violations. That’s not supposed to happen, but lawyers don’t work for free.

Just like your spouse isn’t supposed to be able to kick you out, refuse to file for divorce and drain your bank account. But justice in America costs money.

Project 2025 has been happening in Oklahoma since 2017. No one gave a shit when it was the asshole of the country, but shit spreads.

Y’all get to enjoy the suffering I’ve been enjoying for the past ten years.

This is my favorite summer time art - along with tie dye. It’s super easy, and it’s both an art in itself and a way to get materials.

You’ll just need an immersion blender and some sort of screen. I guess a regular blender or food processor would work, but would be a pain in the butt to clean. The pulp often sticks to stuff like glue, so be careful about mess.

Then just find junk paper - almost anything will do (if you use junk mail - rip out the plastic screens). Lots of the ink will dissolve off, if you want any color in your final product, you’ll need a water fast dye like food coloring.

Rip up the paper, soak it in some container with water for fifteenish minutes. Blend it until it’s pretty goopy (some unblended portions can contribute to the aesthetic - but you do need most of it pulverized to stick together).

Then, put your mesh/screen on some sort of surface. You can buy ones made for this purpose, but it’s easy to find cheap alternatives. Dollar Tree, Walmart, lots of budget stores should have plastic needlepoint canvases, and you can place this on some sort of plastic to try to press as much of the water out as you can. If you have another screen and a weight you can use that to press down evenly, you can push it down with your fingers and leave patterns in the paper itself… just try to get as much of it out as you can, it’ll dry quicker that way.

Then, leave it outside for a day or so. Once it’s dry, it should be easy to wiggle loose of the canvas. You can encourage it if it’s still a little damp by placing it in the oven on the lowest setting for a bit. You can flatten it under stacks of heavy books or other objects.

It’s a cheap alternative to canvas/buying acrylic paper - especially if you make thicker blocks. It does not take marker or watercolor well - no bleed through, just doesn’t react well.

It’s fun if you like texture though.
