Asrock is perfectly fine.

Everything in my home uses HDMI.

I also don't use monitors. LG CX OLED as main monitor, sometimes hook a PC up to the regular LED bedroom tv.

No interest in using displayport, HDMI is fine for the vast majority of use cases. Not sure why we need competing connectors. Frankly, not sure why we don't all just switch to USB-C long term.

There's just no reason to not standardize with USB-C for every display.

No. Won't work. Zero chance. Intel made them seperate products by then, you could do this back in the Sandy Bridge/Ivy bridge era. It doesn't work with the newer chips.

I have ZERO idea how this is perfectly legal and not something the EU/USA have gone after. Qualcomm's patents effectively make it the only company capable of building a high performance modem with good battery life.

From Apple's perspective they have to pay a competitor to use their product that is simply inferior to integrating a modem into their silicon because patents. It's very stupid.

Even on Windows laptops, we can't get x86 laptops with built in cellular connectivity standard because of these patents mainly.

The fact Apple bought out Intel's entire failed modem division and it is still struggling is insane. This shouldn't be legal.

Maybe?

If you have PC experience just buy an old quad core i7 for $100 and enjoy it with a battery replacement and some minor upgrades.

Nope, no reason. Better off upgrading that GPU, it's the bottleneck.

I just don't get why anyone would want that If you're concerned about power consumption, Nvidia is just miles ahead.
