There's enough fiber in there for a few gigabytes

If it's not for everyone it should not be the default for many distributions, and other DEs should be recommended for beginners then.
I think the design philosophy of "you have to adapt to the software" is harmful. Software should adapt to you and disappear out of your way for common tasks. Something Gnome leadership fails to understand.

Indeed it is technically possible to donate, but like you said, they are really not making it easy nor do they depend on it for survival.
Money corrupts and makes aligning user needs and profitability quite difficult, as we see with Plex now

Jellyfin refuses donations so even if I (not the one you're responding to) wanted to, I would not be able to.
Pretty funny one has to keep reducing features and increase prices, while the other is actively refusing funds because they have enough already.

If you don't like them, just block and move on with your life. We'd all be better off without your negativity.

Can your "radio" be called that if they listen for sonic pulses ?
I thought the term radio was exclusive to electromagnetic radiation, does the term also apply for sonars ?
Or maybe bats also use some kind of EM waves to echo locate too ?
Edit: not trying to be pendantic, I'm genuinely curious about this

Yeah I get the gist of it. But I know the real reason for my birth and it's not purely altruistic.

I don't have it as bad as you, but every day I wonder why my parents had me.
Except I know why, and it disgusts me. No consideration to what I would feel because they wanted another kid.

I just started trying to setup two screen using the official dock and the experience has been pretty awful. In desktop mode, I got two freezes while trying to have the displays recognized. Booting with both screens plugged in resulted in no detection. Then after replugging a screen (display port) I only got 640x480 resolution. Second replug I got the 1080p but plugging the second screen either results in a crash, or just now it's not frozen but I only have a black background and the mouse cursor.

Is there some setting to change to improve the situation? Ideally I'd like it to be automatic when I plug the Deck on the dock, especially with valve official dock which costs quite a bit compared to other options.

I'm curious about other people's experience with this

Hello,

I have subscribed to a few communities already (some on other instances, like lemmy.ml ou beehaw), but some communities cannot be accessed from here, even tough other communities from the same instance are available.

For example, I cannot access [email protected] from here, even though I can access other communities from lemmy.ml here, and the community is accessible from other instances (like feddit.de: https://feddit.de/c/[email protected]). I only get a 404 error: https://sh.itjust.works/c/[email protected]

Is there any reason why? Maybe related to load issues @lemmy.ml?
