I mean, yeah, privacy isn't really a thing in our digital surveillance age. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna make it as hard as possible for them. Make em work for it.

It's the topology of the object. Essentially flatten the object into a 2 dimensional plane. Something like a mug or donut will have a hole in it after flattening, these items have 1 hole. Different objects flatten into a different number of holes. It's really hard for me to parae anything more complicated than 1 hole with my head, but that's essentially the process.

I do not recall the vsauce video explicitly, but this should be the logic they're using. It gets waaay more difficult to parae on something like a human, with a bunch of different tracts and splits and shit.

Wow, bigoted much?

Please. I'd rather not learn anything sexual about a person.

What in the useless statistics Batman? So because a large percentage of people who identify as furries have viewed (not actively view, not prefer, quite simply ~have~ viewed) furry pornography, the entire furry community must be a sex thing? That misses more than a few possibilities. Fuck, I've seen gay porn, and I'm not gay. As far as "learning something sexual about someone", unless you're calling learning someone has a fursona learning something sexual about them, this whole thing is a non-sequiter based entirely on anecdotal experience.

I don't understand them. I doubt I ever will. But I know I do not hate them. They're doing nothing wrong, hurting no one, leave em be. Simple.

I saw some really good fights that night. Went to an armored MMA event. Did not disappoint.

Kinda. I got ghosted for about 6mo from a friend, just out of the blue. Met back up with them through happenstance and we decided to talk about what happened. A bunch of no responsibility and excuse later, I acted like I was down to hang again, and just didn't. Decided this shit wasn't worth my energy or effort.

Appreciate it! It's sure a load off.

Thanks. Hoping it's a turning point, a catalyst for her to finally stop smoking, and make other positive changes in her life.

In my experience it's correlation. Motion blur shouldn't be a particularly expensive operation. Objectively, yes, it will cause some degree of slowdown, just by necessity, but it really does do a decent job of masking those brief FPS hits.

My rig isn't the most up-to-date. I'm also extremely sensitive to a lot of the artifacts that come from not having a consistent FPS. Vsync does a decent job of preventing those issues, but the slowdown dropping from 60 to 30 fps is very jarring to me, no matter how brief, and some light motion blur really smooths it out for me. Now, you can ABSOLUTELY overdo it, and that makes it worse. Usually I use the lowest level available, and the slowdown is preferable to overdone motion blur usually.

Hey folks.

I've tried to get a filter working for all of the "this is an automated archive" posts from reddit. They're pretty useless to me, as there's very rarely any engagement, and they tend to show up en masse when a community decides to just mass archive from reddit.

I've attempted to set up a keyword filter with "automated" "automated archive" and "this is an automated archive" but with no success. I assume the keyword filters are only looking at the title text, not the description. Is setting a filter like this possible at present time?

Hey folks. Got a pixel 7 pro, and it's been alright, except suddenly, if I press the fingerprint sensor on the lock screen for just a split second, it makes the WHOLE SCREEN go full-brightness, with a green tinge. I know it's always lit up the scanner area, which is all it lights up if I hold the sensor, but if I release it early it's actually very uncomfortable. Any suggestions besides the obvious "don't let go 5head"? Is this an android version bug, a hardware issue? Anyone else had this happen?

Edit: autocorrect

I just moved into a new house, and it has a weird step in the bottom of the closet, that is covered in carpet. I've seen this before, and it could just be coincidence, but is there possibly a weird architecture or design reason for this, or is it just a quirk?
