It is. Let me help you with your comprehension. The only real issues are that “all” and “he” are missing their vowels in two places and none of the names are capitalised. If that makes it illegible then that is on you. Sure, it helps if you already know (Fred) Degerberg and what PBS, Shuriken and Arnis means but we do have search engines.

I was expecting more answers along these lines. Slightly disappointed with the tangent that people’s answers have taken.

You may have heard of PVC (Poly VINYL Chloride I think) cladding - same thing. In the UK it’s predominately used for soffit and fascia (the normally white plastic bits between the top of a house wall and the beginning of the roof tiles where your gutter lives) It’s worth noting that PVC cladding is only to “pretty-up” finished buildings. It has zero construction strength but when fitted properly will stop all water penetration. Give it a wash once a year and it’s as good as new.

I remember that now you mention it. Bartering with a super power seemed crazy to me back then. It’s amazing how little seems to have genuinely improved for Russians (specifically) since the fall of the USSR - we had high hopes of a new age but… gestures broadly at the current state of Europe and shakes head.

We had a quad cab Nissan Navarra (Frontier) working forestry. Four guys in the cab. Saws, petrol, oil, gear, tools, wire and fence posts in the bed. Fantastic vehicle, got everywhere. Could haul serious weight when needed. It was a tool that became a battered jalopy. We’d leave it in the yard every night. I’d take the train home, my mate cycled and the other two guys somehow squeezed into a Smart car as they shared a lift. We were all insured to drive it on public roads 24/7 but none of us saw the point. Great vehicle in its arena but a hindrance and inconvenience outside of it.

That’s a great sentence… well done. It’s really tickled me.

They most certainly do - and appear to have always been. Look at the Hijra or another similar group. Do you really think that of all the billions and billions of humans that have been made that nothing has ever gone slightly differently than usual at around week 9 of pregnancy when biological sex begins to be determined? Really? If you can be born missing a limb or fused to your twin it’s not a stretch of imagination to realise it could be possible to land somewhere in the middle of the two established biological sexes.

That’s the word. I knew we had an option. Thanks.

Yeah, even to my outsider eyes, that does seem an incredibly reasonable and well thought out statement. “Everybody is welcome - but these are our rules.” One of the strangely most adult things I’ve read for a bit…

That’s… not really homeschooling. The US is so weird. Are there not curriculums (curriculi?) to follow and standard exams to sit regardless of where your education took place? Most the homeschooled people I know lived in the arse end of nowhere growing up and didn’t have another choice.

Apart from the fact you can hide photos in your album this is so out of touch with reality… applying stop and search with your kids. Imagine a high ranking police officer forgetting about how important trust is in any two-way relationship.
