They don't care about the debt. They care about the grift.

Definitely a wormhole.

Think you forgot the photo, friend.

Except they're not. It's relevant information for someone outside of the US to consider especially if intending to visit an area that rabidly supports the insanity the rest of us are bracing for.

To reiterate the very on-topic part again: As I stated, ND is a sparsely populated, blood-red state(68% voted for the felon). Most of the people living there are going to be wary (paranoid) of anyone they don't know. They'd look at me sideways and I'm from the Midwest. Now consider what they'd think of an accent or other characteristics that label you as a foreigner...

These aren't ravings. They are stark warnings. Keep them in mind. Or don't, at your own peril. I've already said that there are well-known organizations here that are taking everything you've been told very seriously. Maybe you should check in with your embassy for travel advisories before making plans.

I've said my bit. You do you. Good luck.

I think the text for the bottom two panels needs to be swapped, but good meme nonetheless.

  • Politics are a big and very real concern right now, especially for foreign nationals.
  • The reasons or lack thereof for deportation were given to you in another comment that you dismissed as overblown.
  • The incoming administration has already made moves that indicate they intend to do exactly what multiple people have now told you they are going to do, which you also dismissed.
  • One of the largest human rights associations in the US (ACLU) has just sued the government for information on the new administration's plans for mass roundup and deportation of non-citizens (their word, this will affect thousands of citizens as well). They certainly aren't behaving as if this is a joke.

North Dakota is a heavily right-leaning state which will be compliant with the new policies from the incoming administration. That's what you need to know about North Dakota. Oh and it's very sparsely populated and cold. Good enough?

If you didn't want to listen to others' responses, you shouldn't have wasted their time by asking.

The shelf above the shitter. And there'll still be space to spare.

Still a successful test flight. Bravo to the Starship team.

Here's a clip of B12's landing burn and catch by the chopsticks from LabPadre's Rover 2 stream.

A bow-tie wearing duck has been injured in a drunken pub brawl with a local dog in Chulmleigh, Devon.

The booze-loving bird, affectionately named Star, was enjoying a pint in The Old Courthouse Inn with his handler, Barrie Hayman, when Hayman's canine Meggie sparked a bar brawl.

Star was left with injuries to his beak after the fight.

"Star pushed his luck too far and Meggie snapped - splitting Star's bottom beak right down the middle," Hayman, 69, told the Cheddar Valley Gazette.

"He gave her a stare, then promptly stood on her back. It was not pretty and not nice. We were so scared we would lose Star.

...

Hayman has cared for Star ever since he was a chick, carrying him around in his pocket. Once the duckling grew up, he developed a taste for real ale and started following his owner to the pub.

"He just won't leave me and so we go everywhere together," Hayman said. "I've not trained him to follow me. He just seems to like it and he is one fantastic duck.

"He loves to come to the pub, where everyone loves him. He is such a personality and attracts so much attention."
