Bro I don't know how to break this to you but all human made systems (companies, govt, etc.) are essentially just spaghetti and marshmallow towers with varying degrees of structural stability. They're entirely made of people who know their specific role and only their role.

There are no monolithic, perfect, "well oiled machine" human systems. Not the CCP, not the EU, not Apple, nor Amazon. They're all composed of the same idiots trying their best (I'm in this picture and so are you).

So to answer your question, it's a series of mousetraps, just like everything else. 😁

I sentence thee to six hours on the idiot wheel!

Oh no I assure you, this was an executive decision. The VP of manufacturing, specifically.

We don't let Interns make purchase orders at all, let alone call shots like that. Especially not for big ticket items like these weldments.

Oh I feel this in my soul. Recently my company was going to buy some very important welded structures, and instead of working with the American company that we promised the business to, one executive went over everyone's heads to buy these from the offshore team, despite protests from literally everyone.

They came in today each one is $100k worth of scrap metal. Absolutely unsalvageable pieces of shit. Truly a colossal level of fuckup.

Will the execs learn? Probably not.

Counterpoint: Civilians get arrested all the time for flying FPV drones and similar over military bases. See this article for an example: https://www.military.com/daily-news/2024/12/11/chinese-citizen-arrested-after-allegedly-flying-drone-taking-photos-of-space-force-base.html

This is the US military we're talking about. They have the capabilities to know exactly what's above their base's airspace and have still chosen to do nothing. This implies that most of the drones are military controlled.

Of course it's 3/10. 33% of the country think that he was sent by God. 1/3 of the country are mindlessly loyal Trumpers.

Pretty much any poll regarding Trump's policies on anything shows this ~33% number.
