Have I been doing it wrong with WD-40 all these years?

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:
Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.
Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.
Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.
Just in case you're being serious: Yes. You need to use a lubricating oil, WD40 isn't meant for that. You can use an oil like Tri-flow unless you want to switch to wax.
I have not used it. This kind of nonsense though...
There are no chemicals
So, maybe it's made from the vacuum of space?
Just use molybdenum disulphide, it works well. Be aware that it does contain chemicals, just like everything else.

We are stardust

I don't know: light, plasma don't contain chemicals. Also neutron stars probably... There is a lot of stuff that dont contain chemicals, the problem is none of them is a good lubricant for bike chains AFAIK 😁
at the moment I'm using ikea basic candles, and I'm pretty happy with them! 😅
I'm still using tri-flow, much to the chagrin of my pants.
We'll see what Zero Friction Cycling has to say after it's been tested.
Looks like a wax product (good), but can it actually penetrate into where the pins in the chain are? And does it repel dirt as well as immersion wax?
It doesn't taste as good as it looks.
Pretty sure you are supposed to season to taste.
I'd be interested to see if it compares favorably with white lightning, which works well (aside from the mess)
