Teas. I like tea, but i rarely drink it. For a while i was buying new teas to try, but i never wound up finishing any of the containers, so i have nearly a full kitchen shelf dedicated to holding half full boxes of teas.

On the plus side, you're now prepared for any guests with broad tastes.

Roll on deodorant, forgot to pack stick deodorant on one of my trips to Thailand one time, so now it's my version of collecting snowglobes from countries I visit (usually try to find the nivea ones that come in the glass container, planning on getting stickers with country flags on them so they're more identifiable).

I may or may not have developed an unhealthy addiction to collecting mechanical pencils and pens

Large wooden spoons for cooking.

Cheap ear buds. Between losing them and my cats stealing them I'm certain I have at least 10 pairs in some dark corners of my house.

Gift tissue paper. I have a habit of folding it up neatly and setting it aside.

Not particularly useful but the hamster in me really likes the crinkly shiny nesting material.

I think you'll find that the old ones don't hang around.

Latex gloves. I work in a clean room and have to wear gloves to protect the hardware from my skin oil, so basically like 6 pairs a day. The gloves aren't dirty, but they aren't ISO level clean anymore, so I pocket them and take them home. I have a box of used clean gloves in my garage. They do get reused, but not as fast as they accumulate.
