"Could" is doing an awful lot of heavy lifting here. "Will" make these things happen, I guarantee it.

Maybe they will bring the whole animal agriculture business to a grinding halt. Already speed running eggs out of our diets so why not.

Awesome! Hopefully that means egg prices will be cheaper? No? Oh, well at least our economy is doing better! Oh wait...

The ultra rich want the middle and lower classes to suffer. Some years ago it was caught on a hot mic about how "we need a recession" when talking about workers wanting better conditions.

If you want to do something about invasive species in your day to day life, plant a variety of native plants. These can be potted plants on a balcony, a whole garden, or even a lawn replacement. Not only are native plants well suited to your area, they also support native wildlife. Pollenators, birds, invertebrates, and even lizards might call your yard home.

Only in America does removing regulations make things more expensive.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 1 day ago

In happens in a lot more places. Regulations make sure goods and services are up to standards. Without those regulations, you have check yourself each time if things are acceptable, adding costs.

Regulations ensure public health and safety.

Its always more costly to remove them, one way or the other.

[–] Shiggles 7 points 1 day ago

Regulations? Being written for good reason? Preposterous.
