My Boomer aunt two weeks ago lol.

I'd say funny not fun.

Never communicates till she needs something from me.

Very triggering like my Brother was R.I.P, like no, I am not your pro-bono rock bottom drunk/drug emergency crisis therapist hotline#. Only leaving voicemails to make sure I'm thinking of her.

Lives in my Mother's house to boot.

My boomer uncle is a lifelong raging alcoholic.

Lived with my grandma, his mom, unemployed, for 15 ish years, as a 40ish to 50ish year old.

...Untill he threatened the neighbor with a gun, fled to the other side of the state, still living on a stipend from his mom.

Last time I talked to him was when he called me out of nowhere, saying he needed my social security number so that he could... put me in his will.

Mhm. Yep. Not like he's got charges for identity theft and fraud or anything.

Tell my family this and they gasp, no, he wouldn't do that!

sigh

It's ok. Just tell ME your SSN and I'll sort this all out.

(god I mess the days where I could say this, without ending it with /joke)

I'm not proud at how long I spend trying to figure out what a "house/endrant" was.

I was like "......what is that? Like a guest house?"

My mom's sister was the fun aunt. She told me all about how great LSD was when I was, like, ten. Then the mental health issues took hold and for years she's been in government housing on disability, afraid to leave her apartment. I'll probably never see her again.
