My guy, I've got like 9...
i only got like 3
also just got a message with her new outfit
looking good, nicole :)
Do we love our girlfriend or what?
It's a social experiment, and this thread is part of the plan.
Hands off, buddy. She's mine!
Just got it an hour or so ago.
Can someone explain the con?
Probably pig butchering but I'm not aware of anyone that's went in and came back with a story yet
Honestly, no idea. Maybe it could be a test for future scams, maybe it could be a social experiment, or maybe its just a troll.
It's kinda like the "You Are An Idiot" virus.
Wow. They started to get "creative".
Does anyone know if this image is AI generated or is it just stolen?
Given that she looks pretty much the same in multiple outfits across multiple pictures, I would assume that they are stolen from some 2000s online site
Does just viewing this thread trigger a message from her wth
You have to light two candles, stand in front of your bathroom mirror, turn off the lights, and say "Nicole" three times.
she's watching you...
This is the first time I've heard of this.
Anyone know why this message doesn't lose the "unread" tag. I'm using Boost
Cause she has a Lemmy platinum account.
Boost has not had an update since mid 2024. I think it's abandonware.
I managed to clear it by going to the tab left of messages tab and clicking clear all.
Has anyone gone to her other links? Matrix, discord, etc?
Friendica has an address of a grocery store outside of Toronto that she supposedly works at.
Would be funny to call and ask for her.
I tried the Matrix, it didn't seem to exist :/ Then I tried Frendica, and found out that my ISP blocked the main Frendica instance. I'm too lazy to use Tor and wait for the slower bandwith to load Frendica, or to find out other Frendica instances and search from there.
I am so happy the Fediverse chick wrote me a DM, which really means Lemmy is growing!
It is showing that there's a lot of work to be done to deal with the spam issue. It's basically relying on every individual instance admin to moderate their stuff and defederate from other instances that drop the ball. If Lemmy gets big enough for spammers to really try to attack it, the admins will quickly get overwhelmed.
Does anyone know if the image is AI or if someone's pics have been stolen?
Probably the latter; the person, background, and outfit (when they didn't change it) look too consistent between images for it to be AI.
Whoever hacked this poor fellow's webcam seems to have captured a much better photo to use in their scams.
Lol good job, op. Sorry, I almost banned you thinking you were "her" again, trying to circumvent their own ban.
