I nominate @[email protected] for their detailed and consistent updates on how our favourite Mars rovers are doing.
Lemmy Top Shelf
A community to appreciate the content creators of Lemmy
@[email protected] spends more time keeping the communities I moderate alive than I do. I appreciate it greatly and so it's an easy pick for the first nomination on this list.
Both PugJesus and Blaze are doing some seriously heavy lifting all over Lemmy. Either one would be a worthy winner imo.
I'm really glad. I was waiting on their name to pop up!
I nominate anon6789 for superbowl@lemmyworld because them owls are great. Cool photos and cool facts.
You are too kind! I'm glad so many people enjoy the community. I hope we pull in some more when Owl of the Year kicks off next week.
I nominate Blaze for their efforts in [email protected] and their activity throughout Lemmy and on r/RedditAlternatives.
I dunno, they never explained this

For many reasons, but currently top of mind is outofcontextcomics contributions.
Thanks. I look at Out of Context Comics as a comedy writing exercise since I don't do standup or comedy writing for pay anymore. Keeps those creative juices flowing. So it's as much for my benefit as it is for anyone else who might enjoy it. And I'm glad people enjoy it!
I nominate @[email protected], for their fantastic solarpunk art and deep dives on utilizing forgotten technology in new and sustainable ways.
I nominate @[email protected] for best supporting shitposter and their attempt at reviving the 2023 Bean craze about 3 months ago.
I would like to nominate @[email protected] for his epic Star Trek memes!
A nomination... for me?
I'm taken aback for the consideration that my haphazard nonsense is of note.
Also, just got this notification nearly a day later. Been happening a bit lately.
At any rate, thanks for making me blush!
Do you have to pick a specific one?
You can name a few if you'd like. There is no point in limiting because bypassing that with different accounts would be easy.
should there be different categories?
Best meme?
Best repost?
Best top comment?
Best meta post?
Best bean?
For now it's just people who post anything that you appreciate.
