I half-expected this to be in the Deep South, not a so-called "blue state".
Unfortunately, almost half of Minnesota's voters supported Trump, which kind of puts things in perspective.

It's difficult to imagine why someone would feel the need to attack someone for being transgender..?
That's because you're not filled with irrational fear
It's not fear it's hatred and a boost to their ego.
The very basis of hatred is fear
"They might come into the bathroom and look at my dick!" I guess. Cowards.
The most vocal ones tend to turn out to be involved in or lovers of gay and transexual porn and prostitutes, it's not fear of them. It's fear about the way they feel towards them.
It's such an easy answer that it feels like it just be wrong, but we've seen it play out over and over in the news. Church leaders and conservative politicians keep getting caught.
I'm more concerned about the genital police trying to take a look at my genitals over people just trying to live their lives.
