Do audiobooks count as reading?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 19 hours ago

Helps you fake that you read the book, so yes. Just make sure you own enough books to look pretentious and then you're good

I'm a 4 and 7 with a touch of 1, so I guess I'm a hot commodity.

....my dating history tells me otherwise.

can some one explain this meme to me?

I can't find Saddam Huisen

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 day ago

Okay, this meme actually doesn't contain Saddam Hussein. I know it's a shock, you'd better sit down. Actually lie down. Lower. Lower. Keep going. There he is.

1,2,4,6,7,8,10,12,15 I'd say of any of them that cooking is the one that I think really makes a difference.

Weird, "nerd for Marxism" isn't on there... good thing I can cook 😎

[–] [email protected] 1 points 19 hours ago

Marxists read a lot in my experience

Does growing cannabis count as gardening and what about painting figures?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 22 hours ago

If you can grow spicy tomatoes you can grow regular ones.

Archery. Archery? Whose hobby is that?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 day ago

Can't recommend enough. A fantastic sport to pick up for after work if you're working in IT or so, clears your mind, good for the shoulders and the back, and calms you down.

I don't do it, but I'd like to. The few times I tried it I quite enjoyed it, it's just hard to find a place near me where I can practice archery. It's quite fun, I think.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 day ago

The archers?

"traveling" yikes.

That is one way to say, you think wealth is attractive.

I have traveled quite a bit and I like it a lot, but it is no hobby. For it to be a hobby, I would have to have a lot more money.

Once or even twice a year, is hardly a hobby.
