I created a shadowrun community: [email protected]
EDIT: Also, someone just created a [email protected]. Subscribed as soon as I saw it, planning to put some of my fav Foundry VTT sci-fi maps there.
Joined.
Not sure if you play any other systems, but pathfinder.social
is a topic-oriented instance with a bunch of pathfinder/starfinder communities that may interest you. Not much traffic yet though.
Edit: In the ttrpg space there's also:
- [email protected]
- [email protected]
- [email protected]
- [email protected]
- Too many to list on pathfinder.social, but here's one at least to get people started: [email protected]
I saw pathfinder.social go up and subscribed to everything as soon as it did :))
I don't play PF2e yet, planning to start my first campaign late this year
If you have any questions about getting set up, the Find the Path discord server has a TON of experienced GMs who love to talk shop. Link to it is on the top right of https://find-path.com
I created [email protected] - a place for teachers to discuss methods and tools for teaching. (Mostly because I'm going to miss r/ScienceEducation and r/Teachers)
Hey! I am in search of a community similar to r/Teachers. Has !teaching already been created?
I created a cybersecurity community: [email protected]
Whether you're a seasoned cybersecurity professional, a student, or someone with a passing interest, feel free to join and contribute! I've been posting relevant news articles and research as I find them, but I would love for there to be more social/conversational posts as well.> CP go in to. That exposure piqued my curiosity, but learning more lower-level stuff like using Windows APIs directly in C# with P/Invoke to do Process Injection/Migration and AV evasion really fueled my desire to keep digging until I hit I point where things are just to
Great thread! Let's get some activity in these communities!
I just started Polyamory Alberta ([email protected])! It would be great to see this build up as a community of folks that are seeking an alternative to traditional monogamous relationships There are resources, advice, and topics for all folks to learn more about this relationship style.
Yeah I posted know this question had been asked in the past few days, but maybe a mod here could make a daily post for new communities? There's going to be a lot of new communities created in the next few days, so it'd be neat to have a daily post to help with discovery, either here or on another of the larger communities.
We have all your pop music needs over at poptalk.scrubbles.tech!
I've created [email protected]. It's an internet aesthetic, combining nostalgia, surrealism, Y2K aesthetics, and confusion into a niche art style.
Based on my parents' reactions to it, it's an acquired taste, but it's worth a look. Read more about it on the Aesthetics Wiki, here (via BreezeWiki).
I created an Obsidian community. Obsidian is my life now after adopting it as my Personal Knowledge Management System several months ago
You definitely got a new subscriber here! I use Obsidian for my worldbuilding and it's neat!
Itβs changed my life. Everything goes into Obsidian now.
I miss the early internet days of sharing stories about High Strangeness and cryptid topics into the wee hours of the morning. If you wanna share your stories or theories you might start here:
I liked to check in on r/popheads from time to time on reddit because I'm into pop music, and there's [email protected], which doesn't seem to have that many users so I'd like to see that grow
I created [email protected] as a generalist cycling sub, hoping to recapture /r/xbiking's spirit of inclusion and enthusiasm about bikes, but being open to a wider variety of types of cyclists; commuters, tourers, roadies, MTB, fixies, whatever!
I also made [email protected] for learning and sharing experiences about psychedelic drugs!
Stumbled across [email protected] earlier and I hope it gains traction.
Iβm getting a 404 for the bicycles one :(
Try searching [email protected] on your instance (including the exclamation mark). You might have to click "next" on the results once or twice, but it should show up!
I've started [email protected] & [email protected] for the people who are interested in, well, Hypixel & Bedwars
I made [email protected] yesterday. Its counterpart in the other place is a lot of fun. Come be a catty bitch with me about other peoples' personal taste! π
EDIT: here's the full URL if you're on Jerboa. It'll take you to your mobile browser, but if you're logged in there, too, it feels seamless-ish: https://midwest.social/c/zillowgonewild
Sorry, that might sound dumb. But how do I subscribe? Iβm registered on lemmy.ml. Do I have to register on midwest as well? π
No, if you search on your Lemmy instance for the community, it will pull it for you. I have had trouble searching before (sometimes) !@ should work, but occasionally Iβve had to use the full https link. Give it a try, hth.
I would like a pathfinder community to have people on it.
I followed all their communities on my server as well since I know a ton of Pathfinder fans who listen to my podcast :D
We have all your pop music needs over at poptalk.scrubbles.tech! Come chat about your favorite pop stars, from Madonna to Taylor Swift! We're still young, but ~~we're crossing over 50 members!~~ we have crossed 50 members!
I'm a bit biased since I made this but here's a Shin Megami Tensei/Persona/general Atlus game community: [email protected]
I created a few shitposting communities that I really miss from reddit.
[email protected] - a place dedicated to making fun of rust programming language (actually mainly its competitors)
[email protected] - funny flags
[email protected] - Europe and the EU in a humorous fashion
[email protected] - Elder Scrolls shitposting
[email protected] - femboy memes
[email protected] - funny graphs
[email protected] - stupid anime memes
There isn't anything going on there at the moment, but I hope in time a solid community can be created in some of these!
I was just thinking I miss truestl, vcj, and okbb. now I just need thomastheplankengine.
One of our admin created a [email protected] Community. He puts in a lot of effort.
Video, board, games of chance, whatever youβre into - feel free to discuss it here!
Weekly game recs, positive gaming news 4 times a day for the forseeable future
I used these quite a bit over on reddit, and they were reasonably popular. I'm hoping one or more reddit mods come over and want to take over moderating eventually.
Happy to map along side you
