I think my favorite overclock was back in the early Conroe days when Intel first released the core m processor. I bought an Asus white book and after assembling everything and doing on a power-on test I immediately powered it off and did a pin modification to force the socket from 100 megahertz front side bus to 133 megahertz front side bus.

It was such a simple modification that netted me significant performance improvements and voided my warranty in the first 5 minutes.

let this a lesson for ya: don't assume everyone has the same set of abbreviations as your niche.

Actually yes, my wife bought 6 outdoor chairs this summer (and a matching table) but we didn’t really get the weather to use them.

I get that OC can mean lots of things, but I think most people in this thread are willfully misunderstanding you because of preconceived biases about original characters being 'childish.'

I will instead attempt to engage in good faith. Here is an original character I conceived for a Star Control D&D game I ran. Archivist Ryll (pictured at right) is an Yllk who joined the crew after they performed a mission to help him study an anomalous neutron star. He is pragmatic and cheerful, and always game to help out, but dislikes authority figures. He lost his rear legs in an accident involving IDF (interdimensional fatigue). He is shown here in the epilogue of the campaign in his capacity as archivist, assisting with the official documents as the Alliance of Free Stars signs a formal cease-fire with the VUX Admiralty after the Battle of the Sa-Matra and subsequent dissolution of the Ur-Quan Hierarchy of Battle Thralls.

I used to overclock my android phones back in the day, change kernel settings and it would run way better. That was around 10 years ago, I then started UC (underclocking) as phones got better and didn't need as much power so I could save battery. As of now I don't mess with OC or UC anymore as a custom rom seems to be enough to run fast and have great battery.

This is Goodie! 😃 I think about him a lot. He's a mischevious little biblically accurate angel baby, so he's still learning! In my world, angels start off small and simple, and then mature into larger, more complicated forms. Goodie enjoys nothing more than stealing gems and other precious items from the demons. In this drawing, he's found a magical stopwatch that can invert time, which is useful to the angels in reversing the wrongdoings of the demons. The mini seraphs tend to find him a little annoying, but appreciate just how passionate he is at such a young age.

I'm actually thinking about drawing a picture of him except it's what he looks like as an adult. I'm not sure about giving him eyes just yet though! But he definitely could do with some wings to make him look more angel-like...

Does a sentient instance count as an OC?

Other than that, I got a few but none I can talk about everywhere.
