Good day all,

I find myself having trouble finding an exact article to reference in regards to the need for a range stove circuit to be a three wire with ground versus a two wire with ground. In a lot of internet searching the closest I can get is 250.140 but I was trying to find if there was an exact wording that just straight says it is required or is it based solely on the equipment intended to be installed.

Any help here would be great. For the record, I would pull a three wire regardless but this is more for a research purpose than any argument to not pull a neutral.

Thanks all.
