One of the rare things my wife and I weren't fully compatible on, she's like you and needs full silence/darkness to sleep whereas I need something that pulls my mind away from the existential dread to fall asleep. I now use earbuds...
Same here, my partner used earbuds and I earplugs. :D
I use SleepPhones. Much nicer than earbuds because they're flat in a headband. Earbuds either fall out overnight or leave me with soreness in the morning.
I'll check them out! My buds definitely fall off during the night and I don't usually have soreness (because they fall out) but sometimes I'll wake up all tangled in the cables lol.
Definitely go for the Bluetooth ones. They've got a new wireless charging model as well but I haven't tried that out yet.

Unless you hate cuddling.
It's not instant, but I definitely get very sleepy after orgasm a lot of the time. Like, out within 1-2min max. But I can also fall asleep basically anywhere at any time if I want to. I think it's just a family trait, because both of my parents can do it, and I've been checked for apnea, narcolepsy, etc. Some people can just fall asleep quickly
not to mention cleaning up

I read (and sleep) on my side. I prop up the Kindle with a pillow and have it tilted something like 35° so it's more comfortable. So far it's the best setup I've had.

I sometimes wonder how many people out there have kinks like this. Like you pass people on the street and wonder... what are their innermost weird kinky desires... IDK, why, but I often wonders this.
Enough. Trust me. There's a kink I'm specifically into where people have added a thing to their wardrobe to show they're into this kink. Not something accidentally attributed to something else either. I've had a bunch of people notice it in my wardrobe and I've noticed it in others. Incredibly common when I never would have thought so.
