A search engine returned a link that pointed to Reddit and i went to check it out and it was like woah there partner you have to create an account and login. That fucking platform is steadily becoming a huge pain in the ass. They will probably want us all to verify who we are with a photo id before long.
The only time I go to Reddit now is when I'm looking for an answer on a search engine, I have a few addons from when I used it regularly that seem to be circumventing that particular bullshit still.

My favorite thing about his dumbass name change is that you still have to go to Twitter.com because he can't get X.com. Also the fact that it's not even the first time he's called a company X. Considering his child's name, I think he's just obsessed with the letter, and frankly of the alphabet, it's probably the most edgelord letter there is.
I heard Huffman and Musk spoke about what they're doing with their networks. Apparently Huffman liked Musk's approach, maybe they're coordinating the enshittification.
These platforms were essential tools for free thinking and organizing that’s a threat to the people on top of the heap. I think “maybe” is an understatement.
Inside of a year the front page of the internet became a mailer coupon book, and the global town square had a cybertruck drive through the crowd. The fediverse isn’t where we need it to be, yet, but it’s the only way to secure these tools from the kinds of people that want to control them.
