The unedited version for reference:

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 34 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Zuck was the easiest to edit since the smile doesn't reach his eyes.

[–] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Don't give the editors ideas

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 11 points 1 year ago

Bigger challenge: photoshop him with a genuinely warm expression so he appears human.

[–] intensely_human@lemm.ee 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Hi smile does reach his eyes. You can cover his lower face and still see that he’s smiling.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

When I cover his mouth I see the eyes of someone who desires murder.

[–] TheBlue22@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 points 1 year ago

I can't tell which one is more terrifying

[–] MeatsOfRage@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

This is somehow worse

[–] Saltblue@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

What are you talking about, reptilians don't exist

The reptilians:

The bugs when they see a hot freshly squeezed dog turd

[–] ThomasLongBottom 26 points 1 year ago (3 children)

What a weird picture. What were they even trying to convey with it?

[–] JohnWorks 32 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

I think in the original pic they were all smiling. Someone edited it for no smiles lmao.

[–] Tylerdurdon@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

Zucker-bot had ordered them to pose for digital facsimile. One does not question the Zucker-bot.

[–] GBU_28@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

They clicked the photo an instant before zuck telepathically commanded them all to smile

[–] GrammatonCleric@lemmy.world 22 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I know it's not AI-generated, but it feels AI-generated

[–] agent_flounder@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Wait so it isn't AI generated if AI takes a group selfie?

[–] marcos@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The AI being in the image does not make it AI generated.

[–] agent_flounder@lemmy.world -1 points 1 year ago

I guess you missed the joke oh well

[–] Nobody@lemmy.world 13 points 1 year ago

"We forgot to take the customary picture. Everyone put your human faces back on and direct your attention to the photo-taking apparatus."

[–] fsxylo 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I know zuck doesn't look human, but I'd bet money this is photoshopped.

[–] ElBarto 5 points 1 year ago

It is, just not the way you're probably thinking.

[–] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 10 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That's such a strange photo. I think its because he has a weird shaped head.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

And because everyone else in the picture looks like they want to kill themselves.

[–] thorbot@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

This is an amazing edit

[–] Tremble 7 points 1 year ago

This is a really bizarre photo I hope it looks like this because there is a very bright fluorescent light shining in their faces and none of them are smiling or even holding relaxed expressions.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

It's amazing how he's able to suck the joy out of an entire room.

[–] GlitterInfection@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Is there context for this photo?

I don't think I've ever seen a picture containing more inner sadness and genuine concern for what's being seen off camera before.

This bothered me enough to look it up. It's a photoshop. Totally had me convinced, heh.

I'm so scared πŸ˜πŸ’¦

[–] dadGPT@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

smile.exe failed successfully. running stare.exe.

[–] NABDad@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

If I lifted a rock and saw that (either the original or the edited version) staring back at me, I'd be smashing that rock down as hard as I could.

[–] wreckedcarzz@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Dude really needs to grow some hair. I could use that forehead like a magnifying glass in the sun.

[–] livus@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Nah robots don't need to Musk up.

[–] livus@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

This picture reminds me of that superstition that cameras can steal your soul.

Except for that woman behind Zucks shoulder who looks like an evil henchman. At least that's an actual human expression.

[–] Stanwich@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Shit. They lost their souls.
