I am 46 and started my career in tech but now work in another industry. I think it’s people with inquisitive minds rather than an age demographic. If there is something new and cool to check out in tech and it’s easy enough for busy people to understand I am all over it.
I agree! That’s what brought me over here. I really didn’t like what happened over Reddit and just love trying new technology out. Been hearing about Mastodon and the Fediverse so I gave it a shot. The mobile apps were what sold me on this and have kept me here.
That’s how I found Reddit. Digg platform fucked around and found out. I hope the same for Reddit.
Man, such a shame this seems like a cycle. At least I hope it is anyways and that Reddit finds out. Love your Apollo avatar by the way.

Agreed. Hopefully it’d just be one instance messing around and we can just migrate to another one unlike how it is now with Reddit.
It's the "enshitification cycle".
