Well I did check the wikipedia article and it doesn't seem to say that Hamas was hiding weapons there, sooo...

True but I also bet 10 bucks if you asked an Israeli official on Twitter whether there was a hamas cache on the liberty they'd confirm it and then delete the tweet once they realized what they said.
