Jesus christ this is me...
It always surprises me when nobody is interested in learning how things around them work. I have a dozen hobbies that I don't have time for.
I have the time but not the energy or motivation to be able to focus on any of them for more than 3 minutes. Help...
Dilettantes, unite!
For those who don't feel like looking it up.
Indeed, we'll do that, just maybe not today. But add me to the distribution list.
Thanks I learned a new word today :3
Right? I think this to myself all the time. I mean I know it's not nobody but it sure seems like it is the vast majority.
And yes, I too have too many hobbies and not enough time. I really hope I live long enough to retire and have time for some of it lol
Have you ever thought about sailing? That's my latest. Bought a boat last year after binging boat life videos and I've already sailed 5 hours in the last 10 months. <_<
It's fun though.
I like the idea of exploring different sea ports. Right now, though, I am keeping an eye out for a cheap canoe (etc) so my kid and I can actually catch some fish for once. In a lake I mean.
It's why I never made it to ensure game content on any of the MMOs I played. I'd rather just reroll a new class.
I don't have trouble with mmo's usually. But just last year i realised that i don't know how to play these city building games.
When i was 12 or so my mom bought me anno 1600 or what it was called. It was like meh, i was hoping for quake. I played that game for almost 3 days straight. I absolutely loved it and kept playing.
Last year i asked my friend if he wanted to play the new anno with me. Never played coop, sounds fun. After 2 hours i realised for the first time that usually i just start over at this point. My cities are never sustainable and i just play until it all ges to shit, and starting over is easier than fixing your shit city.
But with him now, i just had to keep going. It was a huge mess.
Now you both can share what you know with each other, you're lucky to have someone to work with.
Yarp. Soon as it goes from fun new thing to a grind…oh look another new hobby!
I feel like my game is more like a tech tree...
