I'm picking "Colonel" needs to be respelled to match how it's pronounced.

Ok then. Never met anyone who’d pronounce the front like worce… but I guess there’s a first for everything.

Worce is pronounced like wuss, just like how shire is pronounced sherr, if you want to get layman with it. If you really think about how it's properly pronounced there is a very little glimmer of influence from the r, its not a hard r, kinda like how a glottal stop does a little 180 on the sounds. I'm not saying it's like glottal stop though because those are pretty prominent.
