I mean, America already charge their citizens for healthcare, so they're not that far off from your hypothetical

You'd be surprised how stubborn some people can be in keeping with older ways of doing things, even more so in academia and the like.

I remember when i was super excited to play this but I was waiting for it to leave early access. Then when it did come back everyone said it had changed for the worst so I never bothered but still hoped they'd turn it around. Such a shame, they've got the IP for this to have been a smash level banger.

That's a shame

Depends what kinda playstyle they want. If they want cookie cutter wow-style theme park mmo in it's best form, xiv. If you want something unique and unlike anything else you can play right now. For better and worse, xi. Some people don't like the look of modern mmos but might feel at home with a classic one

There's actual medication that was tested on animals that was completely fine then when it got approved it was given to human women and caused crazy amounts of miscarriages. Different species are not comparable when it comes to medication, testing on animals is almost completely pointless.

Would be more apt if animals' physiology was even remotely similar to humans though. Test environments in programming can at least be exact replicas of production environments.

It's not dead, I started playing it just a few years ago and had a blast for a few months. There's even a thriving private server at the moment that even integrates with retroachievements as well which is wild.

HorizonXI for anyone wanting to know the server

For final fantasy, quite literally just pick whichever one has a theme and/or gameplay style that looks interesting to you. As long as it's not a sequel to a previous game you can pick any.

The only ones with sequels (some prequels) are VII, X, XII and XIII.

Although some could argue with XIII you can also start anywhere.

Basically anything goes.

What should a new player learn or do really on to get the most out of the game. I just started today. I've had brief moments with the game on the past when I was younger but never enough to say I actually know the game.

I did a similar charity skate challenge last year with a goal of 50km with me finishing at 80km. This year my overtime goal is 150km if I get enough good weather to push myself beyond the 100km.

Millington's Magical Barn are a lovely vegan ran animal sanctuary that currently look after around 90 animals that were victims of neglect, abuse or were headed towards slaughter. At Millington's they wil be looked after for the lenght of their long natural life. They even look after a few disabled animals too.

Please donate if you believe in this cause, as well as motivating me to push myself further fitness wise!

I long for the days of yore, but I never really got into MMOs until WOW and I've always been jealous heating the stories of people playing MMOs prior.

At some point in the future I'm going to be making an XP era PC build where I plan to play some older games from my childhood as well and any MMOs from that era that I missed out on

Also going to try and get properly into FFXI at some point too but I'm wanting to hear other suggestions too.

I've tried everquest but the way they center the character in the 3rd person view starts to mess with my motion sickness a bit feeling like I have to look at the ground a lot more than I'd normally prefer.
