The only "complicated" thing in this is your bigoted mindset. You believe that these people are not what they say they are until they undergo and complete transition. You see them as their gender assigned at birth, which is incorrect, and you see them as "changing" their gender by undergoing invasive hormone treatment and surgery. This is a completely bigoted transphobic mindset and you need to rid yourself of these brainworms.
The issue is that you think they need to transition in order to be fucking valid dipstick. By enforcing "you must transition first" you are actively taking the position that they're not valid until they do.
